'what's wrong?' johnny questioned, tapping the younger on the back as he laid in the comfort of taeyong's bed.

'hm? nothing.' taeyong shook it off, rolling into the bed with his companion, inserting himself onto him, causing johnny with wrap his arm around him.

'are you sure? you seem absent-minded these days.' johnny spoke softly, caressing taeyong's shoulder with his fingers.

'i just keep thinking i'm seeing somebody from my past around.' taeyong sighed, drawing circles on johnny's chest with his index fingers. 'maybe i'm just imagining things.'

'who do you think you keep seeing?'

'nobody important.'

for some reason, those words coming out of his lips felt dirty and wrong. he was important, just as important as taeyong used to feel to him. just as important as water or food. dramatic, i know. but taeyong knew that there was a huge hole in his heart once he left.

it was somebody important. somebody so so important.

'have you ever fallen in love?' taeyong suddenly asked, like his mouth had a mind of its own.

'hmm, i thought so.' johnny replied. 'a girl actually. we dated for about 2 years and i was quite in love with her, i thought.'

'what happened to her?' taeyong continued to question quietly, intrigued in the story.

'she cheated on me with somebody else once i came out to her as a bisexual.' johnny sighed.

'oh...i'm sorry.'

'that's the thing though. when we broke up, i didn't feel heartbreak.' johnny continued. 'instead, i felt sort of free. funny, because i really did think i was in love with her.'

'mm.' taeyong nodded.

'have you?'

taeyong didn't expect the question back. his stomach did some sort of somersault as taeyong tried to collect his words calmly.

yes.

'no.'

now taeyong didn't understand why he was lying or what the point of it was. was he in denial? perhaps he didn't want to think about the way his heart was mercilessly ripped out of his chest as he watched the love of his life leave him to go to a whole other country out of nowhere. no warning, just a truck going full speed and hitting him without even hitting the breaks once.

like a bullet to the heart.

they were so in love, they would speak about going away together and marrying each other in secret. they didn't care about their rebellious attitude, that their love opposed the teachings of their parents.

but that's probably why his love had to leave, why his father put him in a plane to another country.

to seperate them. to cut the strings of the two soulmates.

that's what taeyong was convinced they were. soulmates.

but he decided against letting his mind trail away to that world. not after the depression that came after his love's departure.

taeyong allowed himself to climb on top of johnny, straddling him and moulding their lips together, his hands cupping johnny's cheeks, who was surprised at the boy's sudden actions.

their kissing became more intense, johnny catching on to what taeyong was obviously wanting.

'let's make this quick because i have to go pick up my brother mark soon.' johnny spoke in between their kisses.

'mmm, ok~' taeyong lifted his shirt off of himself, only to crash right into johnny's lips yet again.
