His concern!

•Chapter 7•

"We got the deal brother". Asad said squealing in happiness.

"That's awesome Asad". Javier said hugging his friend.

"But you'll be going back!". Javier said sadly.

"Yes but not before Kabir's marriage". Asad exclaimed cheering Javier up.

"Ok. When are your parents coming?". Javier asked him.

"Next week". Asad said sending an email to his father about the deal. They heard a soft knock at the door.

"Come in Hidayah! ". Asad said making Javier look at him surprised.

"Your signatures were needed". Hidayah said softly.

"Ok". Saying he signed all the given papers.

"Hidayah, it's 5.55! You should go home". Asad said looking at his wristwatch.

"Just a Little work is pending. I'll do that and head back home". Hidayah said.

"Ok". Asad said. Hidayah took all the signed papers and left the cabin.

"What am I missing Asad? ". Javier asked him.

"What? ". Asad asked clueless.

"You love her. Don't you?".

"Why do you feel that way? ". Asad asked him perplexed.

"Come on man! You recognise her just by the way she knocks. And we all know you've a soft corner for her. And the biggest proof is your blushing cheeks". Javier said.

"I'm not blushing". Asad said quickly.

"Ok. Tell me what the scene is?".

"Yes I love her, Javier. I don't know how and when but it happened". Asad said genuinely.

"Talk to her father". Javier suggested.

"I'm afraid of her rejection". Asad said.

"Why will she reject you Asad? ". Javier asked.

"Because we've a bitter past". Asad said thinking about the possibility of her rejection.

"Come on Asad. That was your childhood. You are all grown up now. Just talk to her before its too late".

"I feel nervous around her and I doubt whether she will accept my proposal and at the same time I don't want to lose her". Asad said.

"Why don't you talk to your family?". Javier asked.

"Yes I'll do that once they land here. Okay get back to work, Javier. We've a lots of assigned machines to look into". Asad said to which Javier went back to his work place.

At 7pm:

After completing his share of work, it is his habit to check on all the works of his employees. Asad started from 4th floor. He was impressed by the Indian engineers. They were all amazing in this field. When he landed in second floor, he saw the lights of Annie's cabin was switched on. He thought she might have forgot to switch it off. He went to her cabin and was shocked to see Hidayah there still working on computer.

"Hidayah what are you doing here? It's 7.30". Asad asked looking at his wristwatch.

"I'm stucked at this programme. I couldn't get the output". Hidayah said defending herself.

"You could have just asked me and i don't want this to repeat again. Nothing is more important than your safety". Asad said absentmindedly. Hidayah was tongue tied of his concern. She didn't understand why he was acting weird.
