His Beloved(A vampire's mate)

Chapter 21

                                *Emily's POV*

  After about two hours of looking aimlessly and counting of ceilings, someone finally approached my room.

   I heard footsteps approaching the door until it was cracked open. And then I saw him, a beautiful man.

   He entered the room and just looked around, with those pair of electric blue eyes. His perfectly sculptured body, his nice chest and perfectly shaped packs. His hands in his blue pants pocket.
And his face...OMG.

   Like the gods sculptured it themselves. Nice pointed nose and long lashes, pink lips, his well defined jaw bone and the blank look written all over his face.

   He finally looked at me. I hope I don't look so messy. He moved to the wall and leaned on it with his right leg supporting him.

"What's your name?" He asked so calmly yet it had a commanding urge.

"Emily." I answered swiftly.

"What age and where are you from?" He asked again with his face not showing any emotions.

"I'm twenty, from the human world." I said with a smile.

"Okay, I heard you are a vampire." He said as he jerked out from his previous position. He moved forward and folded his arm across his chest popping out through his sweat shirt.

  I looked down and started thinking. If I tell him the truth, he will hate me, because our clans are enemies. I looked up to his face as I saw him looking at me, giving me the Can-You-talk facial expressions.
And after he was clear I understood his face went blank again.

"Yes, I am a vampire. From the Balian's clan. Don't worry, I didn't grow up there. I was trained in the human world and I have never visited the vampire realm, until yesterday.
Mother trained me up alone, since my father didn't want me. She wasn't his mate, just lovers and once he found his, he dumped her." I said with a bitter smile on my face.

"Sorry about that. So, what keeps you alive without sucking blood and makes you look like humans?" He asked.

"Well, I was always wearing this since birth. When I asked my mother why I can't remove it, she explained. It makes me more like humans. I really don't know what they call it, you can have a look..." I said as I raised my left wrist to show him.

"I wanted that, when I was to look for someone in the human realm. But she said she have given it to someone many years ago, I'm referring to savato clan shaman. It turns out that person was you." He said.

"It keeps my body warm to the temperature of humans, help increase my heart beat. It also subdues taste for blood. So, I am perfectly like a human." I said with a wide smile.

"Okay, I will ask you more questions when the need arises. I can see you haven't changed your clothes or has your bath and breakfast yet." He said as he unfolded his hands and snapped his fingers, just once.

    Immediately, two maids carrying a wardrobe, entered. They dropped it at the end of the window close to the wall.

    He snapped again and another two entered carrying a long table with a standing mirror, attached to the middle and dropped it at the other side of the bed, opposite the window. All the maids left the room.

   He snapped again and a maid entered the room. She was about five ft and some inches, quite beautiful, blond shoulder length hair and grey eyes. She was wearing a black and white uniform, worn by all the maids that came in and an apron, and white in colour, in front.

" This is your maid, in charge of all your affairs in my house." He said as he crossed his hands before adding.
"Introduce yourself."

"My name is Eva, madam." She said as gave a brief bow.

   Wow, madam. She is most definitely older than me. But, eh, am starting to like this.

"Hi, I'm Emily. Nice to meet you." I said with a sweet smile.

"Get her dressed up and bring her to the dinning for breakfast." He said as he left the room, and the maid bent down to her waist. After he was gone, she finally stood up and faced my direction.

"Ma'am, the bathroom is this way." She said pointing to the door after the main door.
"I will arrange the clothes you will be wearing." She added.

"Okay, thanks." I said as I headed for the bathroom.

    I was finally done with bathing after a long scrub and washing of my hair. She lead me to a stool at the dressing table, where I sat on a stool. She applied so light makeup and helped dry my hair and brushed it.

  I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing a black sleeveless straight gown, with glitters on it. It was about mid knee. It was fitting and had a v shaped neckline.

I applied some perfume and Eva showed me to the dinning.

Long time no see.
I missed you all.

I have been busy with school and just finished my test.
My phone got ceased so I will be able to concentrate on studies... and it did help.
