*Justin's POV*

The whole room was empty without her in it. Emily.
This same name was all that ran through my head.
Emily, Emily, Emily .

I was getting fed up. She controlled me and even my mind was presently occupied by her. I hated this, but this was why I loved her so much.

I felt my heart crumble down to my tummy. She was sad, I feel it. How so? A question I couldn't answer .

"Get you head in the game, Justin!" Derek snapped at me. I have totally lost it.

"I'm so sorry." I apologized looking down.

"I gave you just one task, to supply tissue to this crying child. Was that too much to ask?" Derek said, but I was sure the question was directed to our seer, so I didn't bother answering.

"Leave him be. His heart is occupied by someone." She answered and she popped up again in my brain. Emily.

She will be my end.

"Sorry, I got lost in thoughts.... More tissues? Got it." I said with a wide smile. Derek just shook his head sadly, so did our seer. Her, the girl we saved and I couldn't hear a single information about because of Emily. She just looked at me.

"Here you go." I said brushing my hands against her's .

"You are?..."

"Brittany...Brittany merlians." She said sniffing as you took the tissues from my hands, wiping her wet cheeks.

The fact that I had forgot why she was crying in the first place. Justin, down to earth.

"Brittany, do start from the beginning again, Justin wasn't paying full attention." Derek scoffed.

"My name is Brittany merlians, from the merlians coven. They say we are the strongest witches, being that we are from Merlin's linage. Our coven known all around the world as the strongest, we weren't so many being that it's very hard for us to find someone who has matches our powers, and we are never allowed to fall in love with any other supernatural species. Or we will be killed along with our lovers..."

"That's some messed up shit." I interrupted. I immediately shut up immediately I saw Derek glaring down at me.

"....our coven was the most envied. We had no friends, only family. We were like outcasts, neglected and hated. Father didn't accept any of their truce, being that he didn't want to join evil, or expose his family to the outside world. Well that was until the Balian king, lord Sebastian gave him a very big offer he couldn't resist. We all thought it was for the best to leave the mist of our haters and go somewhere new. We all moved to the outcast of his clan. We where given a very big mansion, we all had our rooms and limited supplies of all we needed to do our magic, all for Sebastian to have protection all the time."

"So he worked for Sebastian, how come you ended up in this situation." Derek asked raising a brow. He was getting angry, I could tell by his already fisted palms.

"Father didn't tell us much, he even left mother out of it. Father changed all of the sudden. He was using his powers for evil , following Sebastian to destroy clans and transferring their powers to him. That was how Sebastian was getting stronger and stronger. Father always told us that we must be loyal to Sebastian. My siblings believed that father will never be wrong, but I didn't buy all the good deeds he did for us. A devil will always be a devil. I knew that once father wasn't able to satisfy him, that will be the end of us. I always found excuses to bail out on missions. That was the same story that happened that very day...yesterday..." she totally broke down.
