His Beloved(A vampire's mate)

Chapter 23

 
                              *writer's POV*

It was evening, Veronica set off to Emily's room, the venue of their gist. She carried some snacks and chocolate bars and her favourite chocolate chips. She gave a brief knock on the door and entered.

She turned her gaze towards Emily on the bed, sitting. Her lips spread into a little smile as she looked at Emily giggling weirdly. She missed her weirdness...she missed all of her.

Emily tapped the bed, giving her the gesture to sit next to her. Veronica dropped the snacks at the side of the bed as she scoops herself on the soft bed. She folds her legs, one on top of the other. Emily followed suit.

"So... Can we begin?" Veronica asked with a big smile on her face.

"Sure." Emily said " I will start with how I got here." Emily added as she looked at Veronica's anticipation for her to continue.

"Well, I was outside the gate...I had a weird feeling so I decided to come out. I looked around, but I didn't see anything. So, I was heading back inside the house, when I heard a noise around the bushes I took a step closer and looked. The feeling got stronger and it finally clicked. He was obviously my mate. Before I could take a step closer to have a better look, a hand covered my mouth with an handkerchief which obviously had something in it which made me to fall asleep."

"Then what happened?" Veronica said in excitement as she sat up.

"I woke up in this room. Someone came inside...a guy. Handsome, tall and so attractive. He told me his name is Justin. And that we were mates ..." Emily said and paused.

"What? Justin is your mate!"
Veronica shouted.

"I know right." Emily said rolling her eyes .
"That is so cool. He totally deserves you. He is so cool and nice and sweet." Veronica said in a tiny tone.

"You like Justin?" Emily said as she looked at Veronica, who was now acting like a totally fan girl.

"No way! I have my mate. He is ten times move handsome than Justin. His kinda annoying, but if you get to know him you will totally fall for his." Veronica said as she dipped a hand full of cheese balls into her tiny mouth.

"What's his name?"
"Who is the lucky guy that finally broke the icy heart of yours? Because I know you, you don't easily fall for men." Emily said giggling.

"Derek" Veronica whispered as a blush flooded her cheeks.

"I don't think I have seen him yet." Emily said with a huff.

"You have. The guy I was seating next to in the dinning. The other guy apart from Justin." Veronica said hoping Emily with remember.

"Yes I know him... it isn't fair, I like him." Emily said in a sad tone.

"What? You gave yours already. There is no way I'm letting you have Derek." Veronica said as she stuffed some cracks into her mouth.

"He is so...so hot." Emily said drooling.

" I know , but you still can't have him."Veronica says rudely.

"Okay. But I can have you crackers?" Emily without waiting for a response from Veronica. She snatched the crackers from Veronica's hand and stuffed it into her mouth.

"It isn't fair. I liked it. There was only one of this." Veronica said.

"Now you feel how it feels," Emily said as she gave out her famous mockery laugh.

"And you will soon feel pain." Veronica said as she pushed Emily on the bed. Making her lie down. She moved on top of her and pulls her hair

"Ouch. It hurts!" Emily shouted in pain.

"That's the point." Veronica said still pulling her hair.

Suddenly paused and left her alone, after the pounding on her head. Her head was hurting her bad. She held it inside, bearing the pain. So Emily would not suspect. It because out I'd control and unbearable. She gave out a loud scream.

"Are you okay?" Emily asked in a concerned tone.

Veronica's eyes blinked red, and soon back to it's normal colour.
Lexis was out.

"Yea...just pulling your legs." lexis said with a smirk.

"You really scared me. Stop joking around okay. " Emily said with a sigh of relief and pushed her shoulder  .

"Sorry, okay." Lexis said as she pushed her back. Emily's hit her head on the bed rest due to the force. To Lexis it was a slight push.

"Ouch, you pushed too much...you have gotten stronger. Before you couldn't open a sealed bottle water." Emily said.

"Is she that weak." Lexis said in a low tone.

"Who?" Emily asked with her brows arched high

"Never mind." Lexis said.

"Your voice tone changed." Emily stated.
Noticing that normal Veronica had a smooth, tiny , clear voice.
But this voice was different.

"I like changing my voice sometimes." Lexis said touching her throat.

"Oh...that new!" Emily said

"You got alcohol?" I will like yo have some." Lexis said.

"You are no good at taking alcohol. You really have changed in just few weeks." Emily said with a smile.

' that's not true. Veronica didn't, I just happened to exist. And this her loves things Veronica doesn't' Lexis said in her mind with a smirk on her face.

"Here you go." Emily said handing a bottle which most definitely was alcohol. Lexis looked with surprise to the fact that Emily just brought out a bottle of alcohol from under her bed. Totally strange.

"Thanks. And why do you have alcohol under your bed?" Lexis asked arching her brows high.

"I found it there. Maybe the former owner of the room. I guess?" Emily said.

"Give me, I will help you open it. You're not strong enough." Emily added.

Lexis found that statement as blasphemy. She was strong, very strong. Even without her training she could take down thousands of army men alone. She hadn't tried so but she just felt it.
"Don't worry. I got this." Lexis said as she opened it with out a hitch. Her muscle didn't even flex, on slightest bit.

"Wow. You have really gotten stronger." Emily said laughing in amusement. She found this strange, yet funny.

"I'm not so weak as she is." Lexis said flatly with a scoff.

"What did you say?" Emily asked.

"Nothing important. Don't mind me." Lexis said with a smirk.
She was totally going to posses this body until daybreak. Having fun and all. She had dreamt of when she will fully control Veronica's body and would only let her out few times.

After some while, Emily and Lexis were totally drunk, after drinking three bottles. Lexis staggered out of the room.

The pain began once more. She fell on the ground and curled herself up. Trying hard to insure the unending pain.

"Why? Why must you come out ? Can't I be free for some more?" Lexis said as she finally felt unconscious and allowing Veronica out.

A/n: yeee. I finally updated.
Lexis is out. That bad bitch...but I really love her strong will and all.
