(Balian's clan)

*Writer's POV*

"Sire...you called." Vivian said as she bowed low.

"Yes...have you seen my new prisoner?" Sebastain said with a smirk on full display. He pointed to the middle of the hall and snapped two fingers, and fire in form of light, shot out, righit above her.

"Who is ...veronica?" Vivian said in a mere gasp. "How did you?..." she said as shock and fear filled her body. She had failed her king and he did the work himself. Right now she was useless and should prepare for death.

"You know what happens next?..." sebastian asked as he got up from his throne and lurked towards the shaking Vivian.

"Sire please." Vivian pleaded as tears gushed out. How did she?... How could she get replaced after many years of hard work.

"Should I replace you?...or kill you?" Sebastian said as he speed towards her capturing her by her neck, squeezing life out of her.

"I will help you...you need me and you know it. A deal with a witch cannot be broken." Vivian said in a trembling tone.

"Sure, I love you too much to kill you...my loyal adviser." Sebastain said as he let her go and she gasped for air.

"And you are already marked by me...this is just to show you that, if for once you become useless to me, you die." Sebastain said as he licked his mark on her neck.

"What will you do to her." Vivian asked.

"Suck her powers ...without lexis, she can defeat me." Sebastain said with a wide smirķ.

"Taķe care of her, while I check up on the witches." Sebastian said as he disappeared into thin air.

"Wake up...veronica. " vivian said pouring water on her face.

"Aunt...Vivian?"

*Emily's POV*

I hope I was wrong. I hope this has nothing to do with mom.
Yes, I'm from Balian's clan and I should follow my mother's footsteps, but NO, I can't.

I cant kill Veronica, I cant let my mom kill her. I have no clue who she works for or how she gets her money, if it's pure or filthy, but never again will I keep shut and watch my mom trying to kill Veronica.

She is my cousin, just like my sister and I love her. Justin, my mate, I love him too. If he is good and loyal to savato clan, then i will be and serve Derek. My cousin's mate.

"Emily...what are you thinking about?" Justin called out, I guess he have been calling me severally without a response.

"I love you." I said out of no where.

"What?...not that I'm not happy that you finally love me, but why tell me in this situation. We are few miles away from Balian clan." Justin rambled, he was shocked. I know.

"I love you..and I also love my mom...and I also love my cousin, veronica. I just dont know what to chose...and all this is just making me scare and...and." I rambled.

"Emily! Breath...calm down. You are a good person, not like your mother, you just follow your heart. Okay?" Justin said as he pulled me in to a hug.
"Okay."

"This is weird, why aren't they any guards."  Justin said as he tried to look through the thick fog.

This place was totally creepy, spooky and extremely scary. Now, this this looks, like a real vampire castle, like those on TV." Emily concentrate, veronica in danger." I said to myself.

"Captain, check and secure the perimeters. Justin, Emily, we are going in. We will call if we need help.
Remember, watch your partner back if you want to go back will you full body." Derek commanded.

"Yes, sire." They echoed, while I and justin nodded.

"Let's go." We all took on step in and the whole place was covered in a force field.

"Justin, we are trapped. It's a trap." I shouted and we all looked out the force field and saw zombies all around the guards.
They drew out their swords and started fighting.

"Derek, remind me again, why we are all holding swords and knives and not machine guns." I said in a wary look raising the sword in the sky.

"Because I felt like going back in time to the vaikaries era...of course they have magic in them, you idiot." Derek said.

"Oh, whoops my bad." I said.

"Get your head in the game." Justin shouted at both of up. As we started the dance of blood.

The door echoed 'Bam' against the wall, shaking the whole building, more like haunted castle.

"Derek...you are here, as expected." Sebastian beemed with joy. He was happy, at least it showed in his dark eyes. I guess they get brightly when it comes to people about to get killed. Typical irony.

" Lay a finger on veronica and you are dead!" Derek shouted he finally came to light. He was looking as hot as ever in his leather jacket and pants, all black. And at the back of him, justin and Emily.

I was happy they were here to save me, but this wasnt right. Sebastian has one more trick up his sleeves.

" Go, please...save yourselve." I said to Derek who was now trying to free me. Pulling the silver chains which were hurting him badly.

"No, I cant leave you." Derek said as worry laced every letter.

"It is his plan, you will just get yourself killed along with Justin and Emily." I tried talking sense.

"I gave you the chose to pick your cards right, Derek. But you chose love...as usual. How dumb of you. Love makes you dumber each time." Sebastian spat out with venom.

Vivian walked out from the shadows her heels clicking the tiles in all rhythmic  pattern, one I and Emily knows too well.

"Mother?!?!" Emily beemed in a sad tone.

"Tie them!" Sebastian ordered and with her eyes alone, than were all tied to chairs placed beside me.

"Yes, Sire." Vivian said, she worked for him.

"You work for him?" Emily said with a tear rolling down.

"Yes, honey. Come with me."
