*Emily's POV *

"I will do it." As soon as Justin said those four words, my heart sunk to the bottom of my tummy.

We both locked gaze and I felt a lot worst. The way he looked at me changed so much. There wasn't a single sign of love at all. He must hate me by now.

My heart squeezed with jealous as soon as I looked at him pick up a knife to cut his flesh and draw out blood for a girl we just met. We weren't even sure if she was good or evil yet.

Why?
Why was I feeling this way?

I had promised to let Justin out of my heart and mind. And here I was dying of jealousy. Never. I will never let this happen. He is just a jerk and I deserve a lot better.

A groan of pain distracted my train of thoughts. It was her, she was slowly waking up. He turned right back to her quickly and her eyes fluttered open.

"Are you alright?" His voice came out husky and I missed when he was all mine and only cared for me alone.

"Yeah...I guess." She said and her eyes sparkled, Literally . She was most definitely falling for him beauty.

"No discussion now. Rest." The seer said.

"We should question her now. Better early..." I cut off half way through my sentence.

"She needs rest." Justin turned to me . He was using his authoritative tone on me. No emotions in his eyes.

Why? He didn't care at all?

"Emily, just let him be..." Lexis groaned.

She stumbled backwards. Her hands dug into her hair. She groaned out in pain again. Derek immediately held her in his hands.

"Lexis...you okay?" He asked and I could feel the love and care in the tone and she wasn't even Veronica, just a part of her and he was already loving her.

"It hurts so much. My head is pounding." Her eyes watering from the excessive pain.

"It's okay...I'm here. Just yield to the pain and drift to sleep okay." Derek soothed.

This was the first time I was witnessing a personality leaving, I wasn't really sure if that was what was happening. But Derek was so calm.

"Please be Veronica. " He said closing his eyes as she pulled her to his laps in his squatted position.

Lexis finally closed her eyes and soon they were opened again. Hazel eyes. Black hair. Veronica.

*Veronica's POV *

I pulled out fully from darkness. I did it. I was back to the normal realm, which wasn't so normal. I was just happy I could see Derek again.

I fluttered my eyes open and saw his blue eyes boring into my soul. My heart racing as soon as his hands wrapped themselves around me. I pulled closer to him, ensuring there was no space left.
I missed this. I missed him.

"Veronica..." He breathed out into my ears, causing my inside to plead for him. I wanted nothing than to be pleased by him.

He pulled me to a standing position and his eyes ran through my whole body. I was sure he was checking for any injuries.

"I'm okay, big boy. I was just asleep for a long time in Riona's dream world." I smiled at him and he smiled right back.

Before I knew it, he kissed my lips with so much force I was scared I was going to get bruises at how rough he was kissing me. I tried to met his fast pace, but I just had to yield to his demands, he must have really missed me to be acting like a beast. I loved it. He was dominating in every way.
