Chelsea and I are together and we have been for a while and we're having a baby in about 7 and a half months." Michael blurted out and recoiled, covering Chelsea completely.

"What?!" Cody screamed

Chelsea and Michael looked at Cody before looking around for any unnecessary attention and they didn't find any, which was great. Cody had a secret fear that only Chelsea knew about - her death glare - and once he saw it on her face, he recoiled and sat back down. He sighed but didn't say anything. Chelsea stayed silent and took a peek at her spouse who was already looking back at her.

"What do you want me to say? That I'm okay with any of the bombs you've just dropped on me? Because you can damn sure that I'm not. I mean, I suspected that there was something going on but I clearly didn't think that this would be it. So what's going to happen now is you two aren't going to see each other anymore. I don't want you to hurt my sister and I'm not going to give you the chance to, Michael. As for you dearest sister of mine, I never want to see you with him again. Got it? I hope so." Cody had demanded the married couple. 

God! Is he serious right now?! That is never going to happen - ever so he can fuck right off. Who is he to dictate my relationship and who I date or marry? 

Michael was about to say something but Chelsea dropped yet another bomb on her infuriated brother. "I'm not going to leave my husband just because you want me to. I will not let you put me in a position like this. I'm not going to let you sit here and tell me how to live my fucking life! I love him and I'm not stopping any time soon so get your shit together because you're gonna be an uncle in a few months and I'd hate to have to tell mine and Michael's baby that they can't see their dear uncle because he decided to be a god forsaken prick about the news that she never wanted to keep from you!" Chelsea ranted and seemed to be out of breath as hot tears fell freely down her face as she sat down, settling into the familiar comfort of her husband's arms.

She knew that stress was bad for the baby as well as the mom but Cody needed to know that he was being totally unreasonable about everything. She definitely understood where that reaction came from but that doesn't mean that she'd bend to his will and let herself become miserable. Hell would freeze over before that ever happened.

Michael looked at his wife one more time before he told Cody why they did the things that they did. "Cody, stop acting like we didn't want to tell you. We knew that your reaction wouldn't do anything for your sister who happens to be pregnant with my child and I'll be damned if I let you near my wife and child with a stank ass attitude like that. For fuck's sake, we met long before I met you and became friends with you. We instantly clicked when she came to my door in tears and in need of help because her boyfriend at the time was an abusive asshole and I helped her get back on her feet. She didn't tell you who it was because she knew you'd react poorly to it and be blinded by rage and hurt - like you are now. I know that we were wrong to get married in secret but I don't regret any of it. I love your sister and I'd do anything and everything for her. Don't take her away from me. Please?" Michael's voice broke towards the end of his little speech as angry tears directed at Cody streamed down his face and it was then that Cody took a good look at them before getting up and walking out without another word to either of them.
