When you and Michael met, it was around the time that your sister and Dylan had broken up and she was pretty torn up about it, despite not letting it show much. You and Michael bonded over the most trivial things and after a few dates that had multiple heated debates about the best superhero universe, he agreed that Marvel Cinematic Universe was better under the condition that you agree to be his girlfriend and you said yes.

Immediately, you wanted to tell your sister but she snapped every time you mentioned dating even if it wasn't related to her love life so you kept quiet until one day, you'd gotten into a fight over how you felt about the topic - not revealing that you had been dating someone since a week after her own breakup with Dylan. You didn't understand how she could be so torn up about it unless it wasn't a mutual breakup and that was becoming clearer and clearer to you. You weren't expecting to have a full on fight with your sister about your boyfriend and the fact that you had one and gave someone new a chance but it happened.

Not wanting to regret anything you say to your only sibling, you grab your car keys hastily as tears blurred your vision and practically sprint out of the door. You get in your car, start it and drive off into the stormy night. You knew that you shouldn't speed so you drove a bit slower as the tears flowed faster than you could comprehend and you stopped suddenly and allowed yourself to let the feelings in and as soon as they did, more tears fell. As mad as you were, another few in began to settle in. A feeling that you knew too well - hurt.

Hurt didn't even begin to describe how you really felt. Yeah, you knew that your sister was hurting after her breakup with her boyfriend but that definitely didn't give her a pass to bitch at you as if you were to blame for their separation. To be honest, you didn't really understand where and how you got dragged into their messy separation but it's not like it mattered now.  For the people trying to understand why you were found in a totalled car on the road in the pouring rain.

You only hoped that you wouldn't die before feeling Michael's touch one last time.
