Who knew that a flu-like virus would change the world as we knew it? Who knew that over a year later, things would change as drastically as they did, creating new norms that would make us forget the ones you knew before? Who knew that something that we would usually get a shot for would change the way our academics were conducted?
I definitely didn't, considering that I now have to type my midterms then submit them online and have 21 hours to do it. Yea, midnight until 9pm to submit. In all honesty, it's fucking hell and it drains the life out of me. Sometimes I ask myself why I chose journalism as a major because honestly, i was hoping that essays wouldn't be a thing after high school but nah, my first journalism module - introduction to journalism had 5 essays i had to write and the shit sent me to bed at four in the afternoon and I wouldn't have any problem with sleeping through alarms that would have my ass killed when he gets home and finds me asleep in his shirt trying to find comfort in because his scent is too soothing to be ignored no matter what
