You hated February 14, a lot. It makes you cringe with anger and disappointment when you aren't the one that is desired in front of everyone at the office but at the same time, you find it better that way. It still hurts the same as every year that passes that you don't get a date on the fucking forsaken ass day but you get over it, only for it to kick you in the ass when you aren't paying attention to anything in the store while looking for pity party ensemble.

While blindly looking for it, you fail to notice the tall and handsome man who just walked past the isle you're in. You also fail to notice that he was right behind you so when his voice filled the store's quietude, you jumped at the smoothness of it and how low it was.

"Hi. Can you help me with a situation? My psycho ex girlfriend is stalking me and I need to show her that she's never going to be with me ever again. Please?" His desperation was clear in his voice and eyes. His mixed chocolate eyes - they were the perfect mix between milk and dark chocolate. You had made eye contact with him when he started speaking and found yourself nodding wordlessly, although you couldn't have expected what he did next.

He pulled you by the waist and wrapped his arms around your stomach, acting like he was whispering sweet nothings in your ear and the feeling of this beautiful stranger holding you the way he was, had you feeling flustered before you actually registered what he said. "Go pick a few bottles of red/white/rosé that I know you'd like to try tonight and I will get your dinner surprise ready. Okay babe?"

You grinned in response to what he said and pulled the classic girlfriend stunt of excitedly kissing his cheek multiple times as a token of gratitude. You pushed your trolley to the wine section and picked out everything you wanted to try before trying to find him again. The alcohol was on the furthest end of the store so combing through each isle took some time before you found him by the fresh produce section of the store, specifically the fruits, looking very undecided.

Feeling a presence near him, he turned to see your trolley filled with your desired amount of booze before he gave you a heart-stopping smile. You quickened your pace in getting to him and before you could stop yourself, you placed your body in front of him and slid your arms up to his neck, locking them behind his neck. He slid his free arm around you, effectively pulling you closer before leaning in with his panty dropping smile still on his face until your foreheads touched, followed by your nose sand it was you who then saw the girl in the window watching you two have a moment.

You smiled at the man holding you before you closed the final gap and gently pressed your lips against his. The feeling of his lips moving perfectly with yours made you want more of him. He deepened the kiss when you gasped at the slight yet deliberate squeeze of your waist, allowing him the access he needed. His kiss felt familiar for some reason before you realize that he was the 7 minutes in heaven guy from last year's valentine's day party you got dragged to.

You remembered him and his name. You remembered his touch. The touch that ruined you for any other man. It was an unforgettable touch. "Michael, we're being watched by some crazy woman. Are you done with the fruits?" You asked him once you found the strength to pull away so you could take it further someplace else. His head jolted to the side and he sighed before picking the fruits you mentioned liking from the party. You smiled at his choice before intertwining your hands and heading to the cashier to pay.

At least, that's the story he always tells the kids about how you met. You are Mrs Behling and as you sat on the comfy chair, seven months into your second pregnancy, you smiled as he kissed your bump, looped your arms around his neck before picked you up like you were weightless, carrying to bed before you couldn't sleep because of the child you were about to bring into the world.
