Everybody's had a day where everything just goes south and the one person that you were hoping to help you get through it, doesn't? Yeah, well, that's been happening a lot as of late. You didn't think that Michael could ever be this distant and cold towards you but he has been and it didn't help that your schedule had you working overtime some nights. Even if you weren't working, you'd occasionally find a shirt that wasn't yours or underwear that wasn't your style and size.
You knew what it meant, you just didn't want to believe it - not at first, at least. It meant that there was someone else and judging by his reaction to everything you've confronted him with, he just hated the fact that you caught him in his fucking lie. So you did the only thing that seemed logical you could think of in that moment - pack your shit and leave.
You loved yourself enough to leave knowing that you could find someone who actually gave a shit about you, not this. You knew that you didn't deserve this, so why stay? In the midst of packing your shit, tears streamed down your face silently and it was only when your vision blurred that you realised that you were crying and fuck, did that make you mad. You had no idea why you were crying but you just carried on packing after pointlessly wiping your eyes, knowing that it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Fuck! When did everything turn to shit? You didn't want to admit that it really was over as you packed your stuff into your car, wiped your tears and left without turning back.
