You shivered as you hugged yourself even tighter if it was possible because this stupid weather ruined your plans for the day.

Huffing in anger, you walked to the nearest bus stop and waited for one to come. The rain got heavier as time went on and you got drenched by the rain because you hadn't anticipated the rain.

It felt like the world was against you and you somehow managed to make your way home but about 10 minutes into your 30 minute walk, a car pulled up beside you. It wasn't just any car, it was your best friend's boyfriend who just happened to be your neighbor.

Watching the window lower itself, you waved a frozen hand at him before he got out and put you in the car himself. He'd never forgive himself if he let you get hypothermia for walking home in the rain if he could take you home.

Once getting to your home, you hesitate to open the door but before you can, he pulls you into his place that was as cosy as can be for a guy. He showed up to the bathroom and ran a bath for you - something he'd never done for his own girlfriend.

After pampering you with warmth, you dry your hair with a towel and hear the door opening again and see your best friend's face, red in anger. You didn't see the problem but it seemed like it didn't matter what you thought. She was already kicking you out of the place.

It then clicked in your head that you were wearing his clothes. You sighed, standing your ground by telling her what happened but your truth fell on deaf ears.

Michael got curious about the commotion so he left his place in the kitchen and saw his girlfriend on a warpath, with you as the target. He immediately stood up for you and corroborated your version of events but that fueled your best friend's anger even more. It got to a point where she broke up with Michael just because he was human enough to save you from hypothermia. In all honesty, he really didn't understand why his girlfriend would think that he would cheat on her with her best friend of all people.

Hi guys. This is part 1. There will be a part 2. This book is far from complete. Send your requests in the comments. I honestly feel like keeping it as incomplete because I know that my updates are going to be a bit more regular, considering that my midterms are based on my journalism modules and there are only two. My last one is on the 7th of July so I will try to update more often due to South Africa being locked down again. Stay safe, don't do anything illegal and please, laugh as much as you can - I swear it's healthy

With love,
Cisco❤️❤️❤️❤️
