Unpredictable: Hazel's Gaze

I'll be there for you

As Calum and I got to lunch, we met the rest of the group there. We all took our seats. Jordan, Mikey, Luke, and Ashton are across from Calum, I and the rest of the group.

We all talked and laughed together then as the bell rang then Calum and I went back to the roof and we just talked about life and we took pictures. Then finally we decided to head back to our classes. As we were walking down the stair well, about to open the door to go back inside the school, Calum held my wrist and I looked at him.

"You know, if you need anything, I'll always be here for you."

Calum's POV

Before we went to lunch an hour ago, Hazel started crying. I wanted to explain to her how I felt because I knew her for the longest time and ever since her and I became close, I'v fallen hard for her.

When we were little kids, I remember that she was new in the neighborhood, and as she moved in, she was sitting on her door step with a ball, I walked up to her because she looked sad.

"Are you okay?" I said to the girl she shook her head and was keeping her head down. I sat next to her and looked at her.

The girl looked over at me and I smiled like an idiot, then the girl started laughing. Then she looked at me and started explaining.

"My mom said that I won't be able to see my daddy for a long time, and also, I don't have any friends." The girl stared at her ball again and I started to hold her hand and smile at her, "I can be your friend," the girl smiled at me and then hugged me.

And that's pretty much how I met Hazel Arhi Miller. The week after I met her, I introduced her to the rest of the gang, Ashton, Luke, Mikey, and Jordan.

Hazel's POV

I needed to hear that from Calum, him being here for me, he is always there for me ever since we were kids. " Calum, I'm always here for you too. You know that." I opened the door and I smiled at him, then I left to go to my next class.
