As I watched Calum get inside his house, I backed out of his driveway and I began to call Marilyn as I was driving home.

I heard quick rumbling through the phone, "Hazel!" Marilyn said quickly. I could hear the fear in her voice. "What is it Marilyn, what's going on?""Your father, He is in the hospital. Come quickly!" As I braked really hard on the petal, I began to 'U' turn around and began to head to the hospital.

As I parked my car in the parking lot, I unbuckled my seatbelt and ran out of my car and ran inside the entrance of the hospital's front desk. "James Miller," The lady clicked away on her computer and looked up at me, as my eyes began to water. I felt tears falling down my cheeks as she stared at me. "He is in room 631," As she told me the room number I ran to the elevators. Clicking rapidly on the "up arrow" button, I began to stare up at the numbers lighting. Watching the elevator make it's way back to the main lobby.

As the doors open, people chit chatted and talked as they made their way out of the elevator. I made my way through, not caring if anyone else wanted to go on the elevator. I needed to go see my father. Do not punish me anymore than I already have been punished God. Please. I closed my eyes and began to pray after I clicked the button, "6" and clicked the button to shut the doors.

As the elevator made it to floor "6," I began to speed walk, looking for room 631. I turned the corner and Marilyn was sitting in a chair facing his room. I walked up to her and kneeled infront of her. She looked up and her eyes were bloodshot red. Tears falling down her face. "What happened?" I said as I held both of her hands as I looked at her facial expression. "We.. We were having a good time at the carnival, and as we were walking back to the car, he began to fall onto the ground, having a heart attack. An ambulance near by and was able to take him to the hospital. Your dad has been having heart problems recently." Tears from my eyes fell off my cheek and on Marilyn's hands.

I stood up and looked on the right side of the wall near the door. "James Miller." As I walked in, I seen machines attached to his body. Heart rate beeping, IVS running through his veins. I sat beside him and held his hand and gripped it. Marilyn walked in as she wiped her tears with her fingers. She placed her hands on her stomach and sighed. "This stress doesn't help for the baby." I looked up and seen her. Her eyes began to water again.

I walked up to her and placed my hands on her shoulders. "Everything will be ok. I know everything will be fine." Marilyn nodded her head and sniffed her nose, wiping away the tears off her cheek. I walked back to the seat near my dads bed and I held his hand tight. I kissed it and looked at the facial expression on his face. My eyes were watering I then started to sniff my nose and I kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear softly as my voice was cracking a little bit. "Don't go.. Please.." I then held his hand tight and looked at Marilyn. "I think you should get some rest. You and the baby need it." Marilyn nodded her head slightly and looked up at me, "You should too. Will you come back again tomorrow?" I nodded my head and hugged her tight before leaving my dads room. I walked in the doorway and looked back at my father in his hospital bed. It broke my heart when I seen him there. He doesn't deserve it.

As I made it out of the hospital, I went to my car and sat in it. I seen a text from Calum and 2 missed phone calls. I began to open the text message.

Calum: Call me beautiful [:

I then began to look how long he called me. It was 30 minutes ago. I began to call him and placed my phone on my shoulder against my ear. I then began to turn on my car and I started to back out. As I backed out, I heard Calum's voice. He seemed happy.
