Unpredictable: Hazel's Gaze

Skipping Class

As I left my Marketing Class, I start to head to World History. As I was walking, to get to my next class, someone pulls me back, I jumped and I notice it was Calum.

"Calum! You scared me!" I say while punching him in the arm and start laughing.

Calum starts laughing also and he starts to rub his arm, "damn Hazel, that hurt, but anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to skip class, then go to lunch, then skip again."

"Are you out of your mind!"

"Maybe," Calum then takes my hand and he pulls me all the way back upstairs where I was before, for marketing. I start laughing as he's pulling me.

"Calummmm! Where are we even going?!"

"You'll see," Calum looks back at me and smile, then I start to blush and next thing I know, we're on the top of the roof of the school.

"Calum, how come you brought me up here?"

"Because, I wanted to talk to you."

Calum's POV

I took Hazel on the roof of the school, where the teachers wouldn't know where we were and so we wouldn't get caught. I wanted to talk to her and have her to myself at the moment. I needed to see her.

I start to move towards her and I then start to hug her tight. I could feel her arms wrapping around my neck tighter. I start to feel the warmth of her body, and I look at her, then I start to blush.

Hazel's POV

Calum moved close to me and started to wrap his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck tight as I could. I honestly needed a hug. I'v been thinking about so much, that I was going to at least break down and cry later on in the day. People might think I seem ok, but it's not like that.

I'm am 18 years old, who is mostly alone. And when I'm not alone, I hang out with Jordan, Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Mikey. My parents are divorced, my mother has a new man in her life, my father, he's a 8th grade Soc. Studies teacher and I don't see him at all. At least once a month, I'm able to see him. I think if Jordan is ok, and Kendall treats her well. Hopefully he does or I'd beat the shit out of him. Jordan's my best friend and I'm not letting anything happen to her, and if I have to find out for myself, I will.

Calum stops hugging me and looks down at me. Tears starts to run down my face and he becomes sad.

"Hazel, what's wrong?" He starts to pull me into him, where his arms are around my back and my arms are around his waist. My head faced to the side of his chest where I can hear his heart beating and I look up at him.

"Calum... I'm sorr-"

"Shhh, don't be sorry it's ok. You didn't do anything wrong."

Calum's POV

When I let stopped hugging her, tears ran down her face. I pulled her back into my arms and I started to hold her tight once more. I hate seeing her cry. It makes me sad that she cries and she does not tell me half of the time. I wanna be there for her as much as possible.

I stop holding her and kiss her cheek, beginning to look in her hazel eyes, "You know, I'm always here for you no matter what, You're very special to me. I see a slight smile across Hazel's face and I hear a giggle. God, she's so cute.

Hazel's POV

When Calum kissed me on the cheek, I became hot. He just told me I'm special to him. I never been with anyone before and no one has ever said that I was special to them, not even once. Calum really cares about me and I just need him to be by my side through the rough times I'm having.

I look at the time on my ipod and look up at Calum, "Calum, It's time to lunch." I said while wiping off the tears / wetness off my face. Calum smiles and takes my hand, "Common, lets go get something to eat, and meet everyone else in the Cafeteria." He leads the way, and before we head to lunch I pull him back, he looks up at me, then I am lost with words for a couple seconds and I start to hesitate, "Please, don't tell anyone that you seen me break down, it's going to be our secret. Not even Jordan, please?"

Calum looked at me with sorrow and nodded his head, then lead the way, and we were then, in the cafeteria.
