Unpredictable: Hazel's Gaze

As I was driving us back to Calum's house, I looked over and seen that he had his eyes glued to his phone. "Babe, who you texting?" Calum looked up and smiled widely at me. "No one, but Luke just texted me saying that his brothers are coming home." I rose my eyebrows, "I never have met Luke's brothers.." I said as I tried to picture what they looked like. I stopped infront of Calum's house and his eyes widen again, "and he says that liz wants us to be at his house!" My eyes widen, "But, we won't have time to get ready!!" I said as I looked at Calum in worry.

Calum got out of the car and started to walk around to talk to me on the driver side. "We will be able to, I love you go home and get ready." I nodded my head and began to drive away quickly to my house.

I parked my car on the side of the road instead of inside the garage and I started to walk to the front door and unlocked it. I walked inside my house and began to run up the steps. I headed to the bathroom and turned on my curling iron and made my way to my room.

I placed my phone on the bed and opened my closet door. Hmm not to formal of a dress.... I said to myself as I was going through the dresses I had in my closet. Aha! Found the perfect dress for this kind of occasion! I placed the dress on my bed and walking fast towards my dresser I searched and found a strapless bra for me to wear for my no-sleeves dress. I started to take my hoodie, tanktop, bra and sweats off and clipped on my strapless. I then started to face my bed where the dress was laid and put it on. I looked through the mirror on my closet door and smiled at myself. I then found my favorite lace white heels to go with it. I placed them on my feet and I started to head towards the bathroom.

I tapped the curling iron to see if it was hot enough, and started to curl each section of my head. As I was finished, I looked through my drawer for my makeup and got out eyeshawdow primer, eyebrow definer, liquid eyeliner and chapstick. I applied the eyeshawdow primer with my ring finger for a nude look on my eyes, and to hide the veins that are on my eyelids. I then started to carefully do a perfect cat eyes for each eye. I started to define my brows, making them a little dark. I then started to take my chapstick and applied it to my lips. I smiled at myself in the mirror, turned the curler off, turned the light off and went back into my room.

I grabbed my white purse from the back of the closet and closed it shut. I grabbed my flower headband and placed it around my head, grabbed my phone that I placed on the bed, turned off the light, closed the door and walked down the steps. I started to text Calum hoping he is ready for the party. I then got a text from Mikey after I sent the text to Calum.

Mikey:D - Hey there haze, do you mind picking me up for the party? I don't have a ride.

I smiled and texted back.

Me- Aww, sure Mikey♥ I will pick you up!

I started to grab my keys, locked the front door and ran to my car. I started to turn the key and began to drive to Mikey's house first, giving Calum more time to get ready.

I stopped infront of Mikey's house and got out of the car, watching him come to me with his arms wide open. I smiled and pulled him into a hug. "Hi Mikey, I missed you," I said as I ruffled Mikey's hair. "I missed you too Haze, we going to pick up Calum next?" I nodded my head and watched as he sat in the passenger seat. I then seen Mikey's mom, Karen, coming towards us. I smiled widely at her and hugged her tight. "Hello Hazel, my God you look beautiful!" "Thank you Karen, I'll make sure he isn't drinking at the party. I'll have to get on his ass about that." I said as I looked at Mikey who was pouting. Karen laughed and nodded her head, "Alright Hazel, It was nice seeing you!" I hugged her one last time and waved at her as she was walking back into the house, "It was nice seeing you too!"
