Unpredictable: Hazel's Gaze

Breath Taking Weekend Part 2

Hazel's POV

I woke up, and Calum and I are cuddling AGAIN! I start to get out of his grip as slowly as possible so I can go check my phone, but then he pulls me back close to him and I start to laugh, I look at him, and he's wide awake while keeping me close to him. 

"Calum, Let me go," I say as I try to get out of his grip. He then pulls me back towards him and he looks at me and shakes his head. I then have an idea. I get on top of his stomach and I look down at him, then I lick his arm and I then break free! I start laughing and I go and get my phone from downstairs. Calum then is running after me!

"Hazel! You're going to pay for that!," Calum says as he starts laughing while chasing me. 

"No! I am not! I just wanted to see the time!!!," I say as I'm laughing, I stop into the living room and check my phone, next thing I know, CALUM TACKLES ME TO THE COUCH! Then, he starts tickling me.

"CALUM!!," I start to laugh as he's tickling me, I'm to ticklish, and I cannot help but to laugh hard.

"Hazel, I didn't know you were that ticklish," He starts to tickle me even more, my sides also and I start to not breath.

"Calum! Let me get up I cannot breath, you're making me laugh to hard." 

Calum gets off of me and he helps me up off the couch and I start to look at my phone, it's still Saturday, and it's 5PM now. I look at him and smile, "Would you like to order out or anything?" Calum nods his head and I start to hug him tight and call for pizza. 

When I was finished calling our order, I then, sit on the couch and look at Calum, "You're probably wondering, how come I got drunk last night is that correct?" He nods his head and I hesitate and sigh, "Well, it's because my mother over dosed last night, and that's the reason why I wasn't at lunch, or other periods after lunch. I had to get out of the school to see my mother." I get off the couch and move towards the window, I check the curtain and I see it's still raining, I sigh, "That's also the reason I got drunk, even though I cannot stand my mother, She is the only mother I have. Same with my dad. Even though he wasn't with me for 11 years, he's my only dad and I love him." I felt Calum's arms wrap around me and I start to face him slowly, tears start to run down my face. "That's another reason why she isn't here, as she over dosed, she was taken to the hospital. After our pizza gets here, do you mind if we go and stop by her room to see if she's up?"

Calum nodded his head and I smiled at him. He pulled me into his arms because I was still crying. I wrapped my arms around him slowly and I start to feel him kissing my head. I just wish I could kiss him on the lips, but I just don't want to do anything just yet... I'm not ready for any relationship or committment and even if I was, Calum would be my first true love. 

Calum and I then, hung out downstairs, we chatted and we hung out. As our pizza came, I ran to the door, I greeted the guy, and had money ready right by the door. I gave him the money, a tip, thanked him,  and set the pizza in the kitchen. Calum and I started to talk and laugh about things. 

As we were done eating, I didn't care how I looked, I was going to the hospital to see my mother, I didn't need to dress up and put on any makeup. I started to grab a coat though for me, it was raining. Calum and I then headed to the garage and then I turned on the radio, and we were listening to music. As we were driving to the hospital, Calum kept on looking at me as I was driving, I looked over at him and laughed. 

"What?" 

"You're just so beautiful," He says as he's staring at me. 

I roll my eyes, and I start to smile and blush. he needs to stop because I believe he's making me look like a retard with me smiling over here. 

As we made it to the hospital, I parked my car and we started to go up to my moms room in room 308. We start talking towards the room and I see that she's awake watching TV, I run towards her and start to hug her tight. My eyes start to water and tears run down my face. I look back and I see Calum, leaning on the doorway smiling. I look at my mother and I move the hair out of her way. 

"Mom, please, don't ever scare me like that again. I'm sorry for everything that happened and the way I'v treated you. You don't deserve that boyfriend of yours. I never want you to see him again and I mean it and please mom, please go to a therapy drug clinic. No matter how long it will take, You HAVE TO STOP DOING THIS TO YOURSELF." My mom kissed my forehead, and she put but hands on her face and started crying as well and smiling at me. 

"Yes, Honey, I will go to therapy, for you." She was smiling at me and I stopped hugging her. 

I wiped my tears and went over to Calum and took his hand, "Mom, you remember Calum right?" 

My moms face grew bright, "Yes, I do! I remember when he was a little baby!" I look over and I see Calum blushing and smiling. 

"It's good to see you again Miss.Longsworth," Calum says as he's smiling. 

"Well, I think visiting hours are almost over, you guys head on home. The doctor said I will get out on Monday, but I'll go to the clinic straight away." I smile at my mom and I kiss her on the cheek. I take Calum's hand and we both go home. 

It was a silent ride. The only thing that was breaking the silence was the rain hitting on my windshield hard. I sighed and I pulled over quick. I look over at Calum, and he gives me the 'what the hell,' face. "Do you think my mom will go to the clinic?" I look at him with my big hazel eyes. I feel my eyes watering. "She said that so many times, and she never went." Calum pulls me towards him and I start to cry in his chest. He starts stroking my hair, then he holds me by my face and I look in his eyes. 

"Maybe she will Hazel, It's hard to tell." I then get out of Calum's arms and I turn my car back on. I turn the heat on for the windshield so it doesn't fog up. I then start driving to my house and we then start to watch more movies on Netflixs.
