Unpredictable: Hazel's Gaze

Insanity

The nurse that I seen earlier, started to wake me up, I look over, and I still see my mother asleep. I look up at the nurse and she smiles at me, "Ma'am, visiting hours are over, you have to go home now." She walks out of the room, and I start to get up. I look at my mother, and I kneel right next to her, as I'm kneeling right next to her, I start to pray. I pray hopefully, my mother will be ok. I get off my knees and I go towards the window before I leave, "Great, it's raining," I say to myself. I then walk to the doorway of room 308, looking at my mother, tears start to flow in my eyes again, I have to get out of here. 

I head towards the elevator, and I press the button, I look at my phone, and I have 10 missed calls. 4 from Calum, 2 from Jordan, and one from Luke, Ashton, Mikey, and my dad. My eyes start to water again, and this time I was sobbing silently. As I went into the elevator, I was waiting for it to go back to the lobby. I needed a drink... Wine... I then smiled and as the elevator doors opened, I ran as fast as I could to get to my car. When I reached to my car, I got in fast as I could, turned on my car, turned on the heater so I could see clearly and know where I'm going, then I start to play, "The Crow SoundTrack," I turned on my base and I felt the vibrations from it and I started to laugh. I honestly know, I was losing it at the moment. 

I started to drive as fast as I could, to go to the liquor store, and I started to rush in, to get some red wine, a very strong one, and I got myself some red wine called, Cape Mentelle Cabernet and as I get out of the wine section, I walk over to the Vodka section and got a bottle called, Cold River Blueberry Vodka. I start to go to the checkout line, and I start to breathe in, and breathe out slowly and as Calmly as I could. The cashier gave me both bags, and I started to head to my car. I started to laugh wildly now, I couldn't control myself. I turned onto my car again, and I headed to my mother's house.

I started to drive over the speed limit, I honestly did not care at this moment, I know I blacked out. It was like someone was taking over me. I think this is all my mother's doing when she was pregnant, now whenever I am mad, It's not even Hazel Ahri Miller anymore. It's someone else, someone else's doing. 

I opened the garage to my house, and I parked my car inside. I then, shut the garage door behind me, I then, shut the engine off, but having the music play. I opened the vodka first, and I smelled it, it smelled just like blueberries of course. I started to chug the bottle half way down. I felt the Vodka burn my throat. I started laughing again and I cocked my head on the side and I licked my lips. I felt the alcohol go through my my veins. This was definitely not Hazel anymore. I turned up the volume of my car even more and I started to feel the base. The song, on the soundtrack came on, my favorite song, "Golgotha Tenement Blues." 

Calum's POV

Ashton and Jordan were not here, it was just Mikey, Luke, and I. We were all just chilling at Luke's house this time. I kept on calling Hazel but it kept on going straight to voicemail. I started to get worried. 

"Aye, are you alright mate?" Luke says to me, I look over at Mikey and Luke and I shake my head. 

"Hazel's not answering her phone, I don''t know if she's ok or not." 

It was silent in the room, and I sighed, "I think I'm going to go home," I hugged Luke and Mikey before I left, and I started to walk home. Hoping Hazel is fine and hoping Ashton and Jordan are ok as well.

Hazel's POV

I start to open my wine bottle, which tasted sweet, and like mint kinda. I took a sip and I started to get drunk. I turned off my car and tried walking myself to my room, as I opened the kitchen door, then next thing I knew it, I was falling, I used my hands to catch my fall, and I started to get up very slowly, I then start to walk upstairs, towards my room. As I made it there, I started to call Calum, trying to talk as calm as I can, 3 rings and he answers the phone.

"HAZEL, WHY HAVE YOU NOT ANSWERED MY CALLS!?" He then shouts at me, and I tried to answer as calmly as I can, but I started to burst into tears. 

"Calummmm, pleaseeeeeeee can you come overrr like right neowww?" I started sniffle, and I cry louder into the phone. 

"Yeah, sure Hazel, I'm on my way." 

I hang up the phone and I start to drink all my Vodka, and I throw it on the side of my bed.. I then lay there thinking about everything and everyone. Including myself. 

Calum's POV

As I picked up the phone, I started yelling, I couldn't control my anger, it just took over me. I couldn't help it. I was thinking something terrible happened to her. Then after I yelled at her, I heard her crying through the phone. God, she made me feel like an asshole. After she told me to come to her house, I got off the phone with her and I started running towards her house. I had to know if she was ok. 

Hazel's POV

I started to grab for my wine, that was on my bed, and as I was drinking it, my door slammed right open. I seen Calum standing there. I then drank more, closed the cap, and walked up to him, trying to stand I start to smile, and then I start to laugh, "HEYYYYYY CALUM, I DIDN'T THINK YOU WOULD COME OVER!" I started to fall on the floor laughing. I was not myself. 

Calum's POV

I noticed as I went into Hazel's house, the door was unlocked, I went to her room, I slammed the door open, and I seen Hazel drinking?!? I stared at her for a couple seconds, then she moves her way over towards me. I start become sad, my god Hazel, what did you do to yourself... 

"Hazel, I wanted to know if you were ok," I held her close to me and smelled vodka on her breath. 

"Calum, I'm fine, honest!." Hazel then walks over to her bed and she starts drinking the wine, she starts chugging it all down, and I run up towards her and take it out of her hand. 

"HEY, YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR THAT!" She says while yelling at me, she tries taking the bottle from me and I go to her bathroom and dump it in the sink. As I'm doing that, Hazel starts to walk her way towards me and she starts trying to take the bottle again, I throw it on the side of me and I hold Hazel from her wrists I don't want her hitting me, nor do I want to hurt her on accident. I push her against the wall so she can stop trying to hit me, I place more force on her wrists, then she finally starts crying. I then start to hold her close towards me, and I pick her up, and take her to her bedroom. I lay her down and I lay next to her, holding her, waiting for her to calm down. I start to kiss her forehead and I start to cradle her like she was a baby. She needed this right now. She needed the comfort. I could tell by the way she is acting.
