"Who's going to be happy listening to that? Stain?"

Y/N couldn't believe her ears as she sat crouched in the darkness of an alleyway, her eyes focused on the broadcast that she was watching on her phone. After spending the night in each other's arms, Keigo was up early the next morning, his hero costume on as he headed to an event that all of Japan gets excited for-- the Hero Billboard Chart ceremony. As she waited to begin her new mission assigned by Dabi, she couldn't help but check her phone to see if her idiot birdbrain was doing alright during his first true debut as the #2 hero. Not surprisingly, he was already causing trouble.

"So next in line, with lower approval ratings than me, let's hear from #1."

Y/N rolled her eyes at Keigo's snide remark-- he was either playing this role for those of The League who were watching or he was just being his cocky self. Knowing Keigo, she laughed to herself thinking about how much he probably thought he was hot shit-- it seems his cockiness truly never went away even as he aged. 

"I'll have to reprimand that idiot later, but first..."

Y/N looked up towards her new target, the Endeavor agency building looming above her only a few blocks down the road. Her feathers bristled with anxiety as she looked towards the top of the huge building, her target of course being on the top floor.

"...I have a mission to carry out."

Y/N smirked as she pulled the hood of her sweatshirt over her head and placed her mask over her face. It's been awhile since she's carried out a mission for someone else and of course-- Dabi gave her a tough one right off the bat.

"I need you to break into Endeavor's office and steal some things for me."

Both Keigo and Y/N widened their eyes in surprise at the mention of the new #1 hero's name. Keigo immediately wrapping an arm protectively around Y/N's shoulder's.

"Endeavor? Come on Dabi, she just got her wings back! Can't you give her something a little--"

"I'll do it."

Keigo clicked his tongue in annoyance but kept his mouth shut, knowing Y/N wouldn't listen to him anyways. Dabi on the other hand smiled widely, cerulean eyes burning into Y/N's as stepped closer to the pair of birds, amusement glittering in his gaze.

"That's what I like to hear Dollface, I know you wouldn't back away from a challenge. Tomorrow-- go to Endeavor's agency and break into his office. There should be a locked drawer somewhere in there and I want the paperwork that's inside it. Think you can do it?"

Y/N smiled, placing her hand in Dabi's burnt one. Shaking his hand, she spread her wings wide in show, the raven haired male's smirk widening even more at the sight.

"Of course I can-- who do you think you're talking to?"

Keigo fought against the urge to object, his hands tightened into fists at his sides as he watched the interaction between Y/N and Dabi-- Y/N and Touya. Now that he knew it was Touya behind those scars, he couldn't help but see his old childhood friend in every gesture, in every little mannerism that Dabi made. 

Seeming to feel his stare, Dabi's attention turned from Y/N to Keigo, cerulean eyes meeting gold-- the tension between them growing with every second. Keigo felt a chill run down his spine as Dabi smiled at him, the staples on his face stretching to accommodate for his wide grin.
