{ Hold me closer }

The sun disappeared in the thick foliage of the trees. Luckily, it's still hot, but it will not stay like this for a long time. The temperature can drop at any moment and it will be hard to stay warm. Your boots are making traces in the mud and you are trying to stay the more silent possible. You don't know where Jungwoo is and it's killing you. What if something happened to him? Is he alright? Are you the only one looking for him? This is your weak spot, every time you think about him you almost break down. You stopped, trying to hear someone walking. But like the other times you stopped, the forest never been that silent, just like every signs of life disappeared with the sun earlier. You took a deep breath.

"I will find him"

You will, it just take time. You need to find him before night took over the weak light that light up the sky. Every branch look like the other one, the next one and the one you saw hours ago. How are you supposed to get Jungwoo? If cold appears before him, you are scared to not see him again.

"Be brave Y/N"

A cold wind start adding to the already cold temperature. You start speeding your walk to keep yourself warm.

"Where are you"

If only you could see him, heard him, anything, but a sign of life! You have to stay calm, being emotional will result nothing. Where could he be? Where would he hide? And who got that stupid idea?! Oh that's you... you shouldn't have propose to be separate, it was really stupid!

"He is fine, I just have to find him"

The words that are going through your head don't even help you. A branch cracked and the sound was close to you. Could it be Jungwoo? Or night animals are coming? One is reassuring, the other is totally scaring.

- You: Jungwoo?

You tried saying his name, but nothing answered back. Maybe you are the one that stepped on the branch. No... something is near you and don't want you to know....

Jungwoo's POV

It's been hours, I'm only walking and walking and walking. We will find each other one day, no? Argh, why I didn't argue back when Y/P proposed to be separated, it was obvious it was a  bad decision. No, I had to say yes and now look where we are? In some minutes it will be completely dark outside and we will have to spend the night apart. Will Y/P still try to find me even if it's night? There's a possibility Y/P will, if so, I can't stop for the night I have to do the same thing as Y/P and keep searching. Only if I could find something at the end. I am looking for Y/P for hours and I still didn't find Y/P. I stopped, the second time in what feels 30 minutes. Nothing. Is everything dead in this forest or what? I can even hope that Y/P is/are okay, because there is no sound. I will continue walking. Should I take a break for the night or not? Will Y/P look for me or not?

- Woo: Y/N?!

I don't even hope for a response, maybe just an owl's eyes could be hopeful, so imagine hearing Y/N's voice, it's impossible. That's when I heard it. A high pitched scream.

Y/N!

I tried to scream Y/P name but I couldn't believe that it was Y/P. The only thing my body did is running to the voice.

- Woo: Y/NNNNN!

I screamed at the top of my lunges, I have to find Y/P, Y/P will not scream like this if Y/P was not in danger. I know Y/P, something is going on. Another scream from her. My body start running even faster. I don't know what give my body all this power, but I'm grateful for it. I saw something moving in front of me and I had the feeling it was Y/N. I run to it, but Y/P was running really fast. I was too concentrate on my running task, I couldn't tell Y/P to slow down. Y/P stop running and I run into Y/P. I fall, trying to breathe.

- You: Jungwoo?
- Woo: Y-

I tried speaking, but my lunges said no. Y/P kneeled down.

- You: Oh my Jungwoo, you are okay.

Y/P start crying and I found energy again.

- Woo: Hey what's wrong?
- You: I was so scared to loose you and I thought something was following me, something bad... then I remembered my name getting called and I stopped.

I sat on the grass and opened my arm for Y/P.
Y/P came in them and I start stroking Y/P hair.

- Woo: I was calling your name, I heard you screaming that's when I knew you were near me.
- You: I screamed because I heard a branch cracking... and I didn't heard you saying my name before that.
- Woo: Maybe I didn't scream loud enough.
- You: That would be surprising... Y/P start whispering... I think someone or something is close to us.
- Woo: Don't worry, I'm here to protect you.

I got up and tried to make Y/P laughed. I started imitating a hero. I succeed and Y/P laughed.

- You: We should get ready for the night, I feel like it will be cold.
- Woo: You are right. Let's climb a tree.

Y/P went up first while I was guarding on the ground. Sure, I'm a bit scared since Y/P think there's something, but it's okay. I started climbing too when I got the signal. Once we were stable on a branch Y/P asked me to hold Y/P.

- Woo: Next time we stay together.
- You: Yes we are. Hold me closer.
- Woo: Yes captain.
