{ Confidence 101 }

"I AM SO UGLY!" Screamed your daughter before slamming the door of her room. She was coming back from a friend and suddenly acted like that. Honestly, you were a bit confuse. Bambam and you looked at each other with questioning eyes.

"Sweetheart, is everything okay?" You walked slowly to her door and putted your ear softly on it. You could hear sobs coming from inside the room and the look you gave your boyfriend was full of worries. You tried turning the doorknob, but it was already locked.

"Leave me alone!" She said between two cries.
"Honey, we just want to know what is making you feel like that. We want to help you." Tried Bambam. Having no answer from your daughter you started panicking. What could have put her in such a state? Who told her that she isn't beautiful? Or what made her believe so?

Her dad started again with a soft voice. "Just open the door, okay?" Both of you were sure she wouldn't open it. After screaming and slamming doors, it's rare you will listen to your dad asking you to open the door of your room.

But she did. You waited for her to sit on her bed before entering the room. She had puffy eyes and she was trembling. Your first reflex was to comfort her in your arms. This way, you could protect her from all her bad thoughts, making her feel safe.

Bambam stayed in the background, but was worried too. "What happened beautiful?" You asked. "Stop, I'm not beautiful." "Of course you are! Who said otherwise?" Bambam was a bit angry. How could someone dare saying that his daughter wasn't pretty?

"Nobody dad. Just... look at me? You can't say I look pretty. Next to everyone on social medias I look awful. People tell me I'm beautiful out of pity." You were shocked by her words. You didn't know it could affect her that much.

"May I remember you that socials medias are mostly fake. The people you see don't always look like that. We all wake up with an atrocious face and then it get better. And the majority of them put a lot of efforts before taking a picture and posting it." "You don't know that dad, you always look perfect, everybody say that you are handsome, it's not the same for me!"

"It is far from everybody honey." He took his phone out of his pocket and went on Instagram. He took the most recent post he posted and scrolled through the comments. He turned the phone to you and your daughter."Are they all saying that I look handsome?"

"No, but theses are your haters, it don't count."
"They absolutely count, there will always be people to tear you down, but you can't let them do it. You have to keep your chin up and high and show who's the real boss." You know that confidence was something that deeply touch Bambam and seeing his daughter struggling with it probably hurt him.

"It is hard! How am I suppose to do that huh? I'm not like you and mom/dad, you are strong and nothing seem to affect you, but I'm totally different from that. Every little things affect me. And look. It is not for nothing that my friends don't like how I dress and how I look."

"They don't like what? If they don't like something of you, they aren't your friends sweetheart. Friends are supposed to hype you up, make you feel good, not to tear you down. Believe me, you are the most stunning girl I ever seen." You said.

"If I'm not friend with them, I'll be lonely..." She never said a thing about all of this before, they probably really hurt her else she wouldn't have told you about all this. "Friends come and go, and you totally have to let theses go. A healthy relationship is a relationship that will make everybody in it happy. I don't think that apply to you..." you continued.

She shrugged her shoulder and you hugged her again. She don't deserve to feel like that, nobody deserve to feel like that. "Look, we all are uglier younger." "Bambam!" This will totally not help her why is he saying that?

"What? It's true. Look..." he showed a picture of him before his debut. "I wasn't the hottest and prettiest of my class, either of my school. We all have an ugly phase, but look at me now? Am I not the most handsome man on earth?"

He started walking around the room and making weird poses. He is wise and only did that to light up the atmosphere and make her laugh. Wich worked. You laughed too. "Asked your Y/G to show you pictures of Y/P when Y/P was/were young, I'm sure it is a treasure."

"I am not doing that." "Please Y/G, please!!"
She was smiling again, so you couldn't say no. You took some pictures out of a old box and showed them with shame. "Y/G did you knew about skin care routine?" Joked your boyfriend. "Ha. Ha. Ha. Really funny."

"See sweetheart, you're lucky you don't have pimples all over your face." You tried to say to help her. "You were still very pretty Y/G." "She's right. I was a total lost next to you." "Oh, stop, I never had a boyfriend before you, don't ask why." "Dad was your first love?" "He is." You nodded, remembering the first time you met your breath taking boyfriend.

"That's why I call myself the luckiest man in the world, I got your Y/G and also, the most adorable daughter in the world." You blushed and look at your daughter to see her reaction.

"Moral of the story, don't listen to what other have to say about you. It don't matter and-" started Bambam. "You are totally not keeping your friends." You ended before inviting Bambam in the family hug. "By the way, I was joking earlier, you two have the cutest face in the morning."
