Park Seonghwa

{ April fool }

The only day that you really like in April is the first. The day that permits to prank your loved ones, that is why you like it so much. This year, your carefully prepared the prank you will do to Seonghwa. Last year, he was the one that  pranked you well, so you will take your revenge. It is the 31'st March and you are completely ready to make your plan work.

Hopefully, Seonghwa is working late today so you will do everything well and wait for him to come home acting normally. Your suitcase is in the closet all packed and you have your passport and purse next to it. Let the fun begin.

Seonghwa was meant to come late, but not that late. Your eyes are starting to give up on the plan to wait for him until he come home.
"No you have to stay awake to make the plan work" you said to yourself.

The doorknob finally turned and you jumped out of the couch. He enter the apartment with his coat on one arm while the other one was holding some papers. You jumped in his arms and kissed his cheek. He hold your waist and kissed your properly.

"You are not sleeping?" He asked you. "No I was waiting for you, I wanted to spend every minutes I could with you." "What?" "Nothing... are you hungry? Tired?" Just like you wanted it to be, suspicious and giving him hints of your prank.

"All I want is to cuddle with you." It made you smile and you hugged him closer. He is so not ready for the prank you will do to him. He took off his shoes and went straight to the bedroom. You joined him in the bed and start cuddling him until you fell asleep.

Your alarm clock start ringing as you pulled your face into Seonghwa's chest. One of his arm was holding you while the other was closing the alarm. "Good morning sweetheart." His sleepy voice made you shivers and you answered by a lovely good morning.

"What hour is it?" He whispered in your ear. You sat on the bed to look at the clock. "Too early" You just took some extra cuddles minutes before you do your evil plan and before he got mad at you... but you are ready more than ever to prank him.

Maybe after 15 minutes you finally decided to get out of bed. Seonghwa made you breakfast and you eat while looking at his beautiful features. After eating you immediately went straight to the shower without telling him you would. You need to make your plan work.

You got out of the shower and you unusually dress seriously. When it is Seonghwa's break day you usually dress comfortably, but not today. You also had the suitcase and passport in your hands. "Where are you going dressed like that." "Eh hum... well I-" maybe it will be harder to lie to him than you thought.

"I need to go Seonghwa." "Go where?" You took a deep breath. "Get out of here. I am drowning under everything right now." You took a pause before starting again. "I already have my ticket to go... I'm sorry Seonghwa..." "No! How? Why didn't you tell me? I could have help you! You're leaving me here? Alone?"

You nodded shyly while looking at your shoes.
"No, it's not true. It's April fool, I know you are trying to fool me, it won't work on me Y/N" Oh no he found out... play along. "I know it's not the best day to do this, but-" you tried to restrain the random laugh that came of you.

"... I really need to go... I'll come back you know." "Yeah... you will... but it will be too late. It's already too late." What? He is kidding right? What does he mean by that? Your passport was threatening to fall out of your hand since you were shaking a lot. "What... what do you mean by that?" "I mean that you did it at the right time... I've been thinking about that since a long time, we should break up..."

You were hopping it would not be theses words that would come out of his perfect lips, but hope leads nowhere... you felt your heartbeat slowing down, like he was the only reason that it was beating. "Please say April fool..." "No. It is real" You gasped. This is a nightmare.

"I was only joking I didn't mean to leave! I was planning to stay with you all day-"  his face was not changing, not turning into a smirk and then laughing. It was the most serious face you ever saw on him.  "Seonghwa..." you went closer to him but he walk back. You felt the tears coming. How this joke turns out this bad? You abandoned your suitcase on the floor and used your hands to cover your face. You did not want Seonghwa to see your sad face.

"Okay I'm sorry baby, yes it was an April fool, please don't cry." His hands rested on your shoulders and even if you were really crying a minute ago... you knew deep down it was a joke so you laughed.

He was really confuse of your reaction and left one of his eyebrows. "Are you okay?" "Do you promise me you still love me?" "Of course I still love you baby, I was just scared that you would leave for real... I'm sorry." He wrapped his arms around you and kissed the top of your head.

"You aren't leaving huh?" You shaked your head while still being in his arms. You were so released that he was not really breaking up with you. 

"Next year, no April fool it is too much to handle for my heart." He laughed and pulled away. "You don't know me to say such things." 
He smirked and winked at you. Next year you will spend time to prepare yourself mentally for his prank instead of preparing a prank.
