{ Summer love }

You were finally over your ex. You thought this summer would let you be free. That nothing could hold your heart in a cage again. You thought that until you met him...

You were at the beach, the place where you spend all the past weeks at. The sun was high in the sky and its light was warming your skin. Small waves were echoing on the sand and you were enjoying the peacefulness of the place. There was no one for a moment, but then a group of boys arrived on the beach.

You redressed yourself and look at them. They were fooling around, giving each other true laughs. They were coming in your way and you started panicking, you don't know them. You calm down when you remembered that a lot of tourists came these days.

You lay yourself back on your towel and putted your sunglasses. "Go Mark ask Y/P." You heard from far away. "Ex... excuse me..." said one of the boy, Mark you presumed. "Yes?" You answered while sitting. You took off your sunglasses once again and met his gaze.

This damn gaze, the one that made you fall immediately. He didn't answered right away. You both just kept looking at each other. It was like time was stopped. "Man what are you waiting?" Said one of his friends. "Hum.. yeah do you know a restaurant not far?" He asked."Yeah... about 5 minutes away." You answered. He shyly thanked you and left with his friends.

After the sun disappeared behind the sea, you decided to take a break from the beach and went to the restaurant you talked about earlier.You entered the little building and the owners welcomed you. You took your usual place and took your phone. An unusual background chaos made you look up.

It was the boys from earlier. They were talking loudly. "It's good to see some life in this place."
Said the owner. "Yeah, we'll it's different." You admitted. "Your usual?" She asked. You nodded and she disappeared behind the kitchen. You took some time to admire Mark's side profile before getting interrupted by the owner again. "You find him your type, don't you?" She teased you. You just shrugged your shoulders because you really wished he wasn't.

Your order arrived and you started eating peacefully. "It's your dare Dude, you have to do it." Said one of the boys. Not long after, a boy sat next to you. You turned your head and saw Mark. "Hi... me again." Your mouth was full so you just nodded. He didn't waited for you to answer, he just went on.

"To be honest with you... they dared me to go talk to you, but I don't want to-" he stopped himself and looked like he just did the worst error in his life. "What?" You asked confused. He putted his hand on his neck and looked down. "I don't want to ruin my chance with you for a stupid dare..." You saw some blush colouring his cheeks. It's cheesy, a lot, but you can't help but find it cute.

"Well you didn't. Your chances are still up." He lift his head and his face lighted up. "How long are you here?" He asked. "I live here..." You answered getting nervous. "Oh, okay I'm leaving in a month." He said. You both fell silent, there is no hope in a love story here.

"So I guess there's no time to waste together."
He announced. Okay your heart started beating really fast at this moment. "Mark we said talk to Y/P not to abandon us!"

Since his friends were getting impatient he asked you if you were free this week. "I am." You shyly answered. After setting a date, he left you and you couldn't stop smiling. Here we go again. The owner, an old friend of your mom, came to you again. "I knew you would end up with him, you are both full of life." You just smiled and looked at them leaving the restaurant. Even if you are still not with him, the comment warmed your heart.

Later in bed, you weren't able to think about something else than his eyes. The perfect curve of his face. His muscular arms. Everything about him was perfect and you knew him just for a day. In your dream, you were on a date with a pretty brown haired boy, softly kissing you on the beach.
