You are outside waiting for Kai to pick you up. He is late. Of half an hour. It's not like him, he's never late... That's why you started to worry. What if something happened to him?

Your hands were freeze and your cheeks never been that red. You are dancing on your feet on a weak try to warm yourself. You finally see the black car coming in the street and you run to it.
- You: Kai it's been 45 minutes! I was waiting outside the whole time. I'm literally freezing. - Kai: I'm sorry...
You didn't check him, because you were in a hurry to close the door and let the warmth of the car filled your body. Kai putted the temperature at the hottest to warm you up. He looked at you and put both his hands on your cheeks. The warmth coming off of his hands were making your cheeks fizzle. You looked on his eyes and he did too, making an eyes contact.
- You: Thank you...
He just smiled and keep doing what he was doing. That's when you remembered why you have feelings for him. He is so intentioned, always there for you. His eyes and his cute little smile, make your heart beat faster than the normal every time.
- Kai: Are you less cold now?
You nodded shyly and he then took your hands in his. "Stopped..." you said in your head, but you didn't really wanted him to stop.
- You: Why were you late? - Kai: Hum...
He looked down and say something you didn't hear. You were not mad anymore at him, why is he shy?
- Kai: I... I fell asleep a bit before. - You: Oh... okay.
Being best friend help you to know when the other is lying, and he is completely lying right now, but you don't want to be annoying so you just smiled. __________
You arrived at his appartement and you were happy to be able to put yourself on a warm blanket, because you are still cold. But when you went to his room to take the blanket you saw something that is not there naturally.
- You: Why there's a big teddy bear in your room? Is it for someone? - Kai: Yeah.... - You: For who?
You were all excited, a part of you wished it was for you, but the other half know it was not happening.
- Kai: My crush... - You: You have a crush?

- Kai: Yeah... you don't know the person. - You: Oh hum okay. Well the teddy bear is really cute, the person will be really lucky.
You faked laughed and didn't get the blanket. You didn't want to get suspicious, it's why you stayed, but you really wanted to go back home.
- Kai: Are you still cold? - You: No I'm good...
Another lie. You were suppose to watch a movie together, but Kai kept his eyes on his phone the whole time. The wound in your heart was getting bigger every time.
- You: I just remember! I need to go... See you later... - Kai: Wait I can take you back home. - You: Oh no no don't worry, I'll be okay. You seem busy anyway.
The last thing you needed was to get in a car with him. Your feelings are hurt and if you stay a minute more, you will broke down.
- Kai: I insist. - You: Please Kai.. let me...
You stopped talking. The tears were coming.
- Kai: Hey is everything okay?
He came closer and putted you on his arms. You couldn't hug him, knowing he will never be yours. You nodded and get out of his warm arms.
- You: Good luck with your crush. - Kai: Thanks- but wait. I need help.
Please no, you can't help him with that, not right now at least.
- Kai: How can I tell Y/P if Y/P is/are leaving? - You: Tell Y/P before Y/P leave. - Kai: Thank you.
You didn't even make the effort to nod... your eyes were heavy and your heart was too.
- Kai: In that case, I think we should be lovers instead. - You: What? - Kai: The teddy bear... it's for you. Do you like it? - You: But... - Kai: I love you Y/N! We are best friends for 5 years now... I can't keep it inside anymore... - You: You aren't joking right? - Kai: No I'm not.
