Lee Seoho

{ Football game }

All the week the only subject the students of your school talked about was the upcoming football game. The school team against another school, but that didn't mattered to you. You don't really like football, you prefer baseball. The only thing that made you reserve a place to see the game is that your boyfriend play in that team and you don't want to miss one of his match.

Seoho left an hour ago to be ready for the game and you are with his friends waiting to go to the field. "Guys, we should go, else we will be late." you said. Hwanwoong agreed and you all went in the car. Ravn was driving while Xion was choosing the music on the passenger seat. You are excited to see your boyfriend play, it will be the first time.

"I bet 10$, Leedo will make more points than Seoho." affirmed Keonhee. "That will never happen." increased Hwanwoong. "We'll see."
adjusted Ravn. As the car stopped next to the football field, you saw all the people present for the match. "There's a crazy amount of people..." You said. "See, you're lucky Seoho choose you, wait until you see all of his groupies." didn't reassured you Xion. 

Ravn gave him a look to let him know what he said was not necessary, but it was too late. Jealousy was starting to fill your veins and you tried to hide it. You all find your places on the stands and waited for the game to start. First, the mascot of both teams started to walk on the field and everyone applauded so you did the same thing.

Then, the cheerleaders of your school started invading the field and a music started over the speakers. You recognize one of your friend and didn't know he was that good in cheerleading. After the cheerleading team finished their routine, the presenter started introducing the players of tonight's game.

Your smile grew when you heard "Lee Seoho."
And saw him running to join his teams. You wanted to scream to support him, but didn't know if you could do that without looking completely stupid. When two girls in front of you did it a bit just before someone else get called, you understood they were his «groupies» like Xion called them. You sat back at your place, your mouth shut and you kept looking at them. "Don't worry, you can scream later to encourage him." told you Ravn.

You nodded and look one last time at the girls before putting all your attention to the game that was about to start. You didn't really knew what was going on in the game so you asked Keonhee to explain you while watching the game. "See, this is a- OMG NO!" All the crowd went really loud and you realized that Leedo lost the ball. "I BETTED ON YOU!" screamed Keonhee. "Go there, we'll see if you're better than him." dared Hwanwoong. "No one can beat me at football." said Keonhee to defend himself. You stopped listening to them and tried to understand the game yourself. Your boyfriend got on the ground after another player pushed him.

You immediately got up on your feet and was about to run to him, but Ravn took your arm before you had the chance to. "He's okay. Look, he is getting up." The arbitrator made them start another game. You were still emotional from seeing him potentially getting hurt. Keonhee started explaining the game to you again and you tried your best to understand, but it was just not working. You stopped listening to him when Seoho had the ball in hand and was running to make a point. "Yes, yes, yes, you can do it baby." You were telling yourself.

Hwanwoong and Keonhee were arguing again and you had all your attention on your boyfriend's feet to be sure he was not going to fall. When you heard Keonhee groaning, you knew that meant Seoho made a point. You started screaming at the top of your lunges. Xion laughed and you look at him asking him with your eyes what was is problem. He pointed in front of you and you saw the two girls of earlier staring at you. You smiled and screamed again.

You saw your boyfriend looking in the crowd and to be sure he looked at you, you started making gesture. Even if he was far from you, you could see his eyes sparkling. You waved at him and he waved back. He sent a flying kiss before going back to the game.

You were now interested into the game and couldn't take off your eyes out of it. In the background, all you could hear was the boys arguing, but you started to ignore them. You lost interest when Seoho took a pause and didn't play for 20 minutes. It was boring and pointless if it was not to encourage him! "Okay, can we change the bet for 5$?" Asked Keonhee that was clearly losing. "No, are you crazy? A deal is a deal." Answered Xion.

Keonhee really didn't choose is day to bet on Leedo, because even if he already made two points, Seoho was on fire and was making the team win since he made 5 points. Without counting the other points that the other player made. "Anyway, the game is about to end, it would surprise me that Seoho lose his advance, he will just do more and Leedo won't be able to win." rectified Ravn.

"Who are you betting on Ravn?" you asked him. "You're boyfriend." he answered. The presenter announced the last game of the match and everyone stayed muted, to not miss a movement from the players. At the start, it was the team from the other school that had the ball, but Seoho took it and ran the fastest he could. At the second the ball touched the ground, the presenter yelled in his mic.

"THE *your school name* 'S TEAM WON" You started yelling and you run down the stand to go congratulate your boyfriend. You almost tripped on your way to the ground. Seoho noticed you were running towards him, so he started running to, in your way. Halfway, you finally met his pretty eyes, but you couldn't admire them, because you were out of breath.

"How did you find me? Was I a good player?"
he asked and by his voice you knew he was nervous. "A good... player? Are you joking me? You are literally the best player of your team!"
He smiled and kissed you. His hands got around your waist and you got butterflies.

You could heard people screaming harder in the back when you two started kissing. "You just made a lot of people jealous baby." he told you, while kissing the top of your head. "Well, it was time for them to realize you are mine and not theirs." He laughed and kissed you again, before his team and his friends came to congratulate him too.

"So Keonhee, where is my 10$?" asked Hwanwoong. Keonhee rolled his eyes and handed a ten dollars to Hwanwoong. "You bet on us again?!" Asked Leedo. "I was betting on you okay?! Don't be mad at me!" defended Keonhee.

Seoho looked in your eyes and asked "Were you betting on me?" "I was... I don't regret my betting." He laughed and hide his face and this time, you kissed him.
