Winter night; ❄️

For the first time this year, the temperature went below minus ten. The streets were covered with a thick layer of snow that was actually adding charm to the cold season. Even if the roads were almost not good enough to be used abs that it was freezing outside, your dog still wanted to go.

You needed to take air too, so you put your big coat and your enormous boots before taking a grip at the leash of your dog. It immediately ran to you with excitement, it was its favourite moment of the day and so was yours.

As you opened the door the cold air immediately hit you, but it was still fine since you cooked all afternoon, the oven worked all that time and kept you warm. Your dog was the cutest in the snow so you took that opportunity to send a video to Ravn, your boyfriend. You were both huge fans of your dog acting up, true parents.

After sending the video you regretted to had take your phone... you fingers were now ice. You putted them right back in the pocket of your coat and wished that they were going to warm up. Your dog started sniffing a path that another dog took and it decided to follow it. Which ended up being really far of your house. At one point where you realize your fingers weren't going to warm up, you decided it was time to turn around.

It was way longer than you remembered. You couldn't ask more than just arrive home, but your dog was taking its time and you were there freezing. You felt your phone vibrate a couple of times, but you didn't have the courage to take your phone out your pocket and freeze your fingers again.

They weren't the only froze thing on your body at this moment, your thighs were, your cheeks were, even your toes were! It was more than time to arrive, but home was still far away...
"You want to run a little bit?" The dog seemed to be even more excited to this idea and you were happy of your idea. You started jogging with your dog next to you that was doing efforts to not start going faster than you.

You finally turned the corner of your streets and you were now going full speed on the run. You noticed that the car of your boyfriend was already there, or finally, you have no ideas of what hour it is. Your dog recognized your house and started running even faster, which was something you couldn't do, because your toes were hurting too much.

When you finally arrived in your driveway and ran to the door was a awesome moment, heat was coming! Your took off the leash of your dog before removing your coat and your boots. You were even more cold without it, but the heat of the house was burning your cheeks, which reminded you that you arrived just in time.

Your boyfriend was done with the greetings with you dog so he came to welcome you. "Why didn't you answered me after the video?" "Because I was too cold..." you admitted. He looked down at your fingers abs saw how red they were. He immediately started holding them in his to warm them up as he kissed your forehead.

As your fingers started to have hot blood running into them, you went into the kitchen to have a hot chocolate, it would warm you up immediately. While you were doing that your boyfriend disappeared from near you and you waited where you were. Once your hot chocolate was ready, you went to the living room where you finally found Ravn.

He was laying on the couch with a bunch of blankets with the remote of the television in his hands. He patted his stomach, signalling you to come lay on him. You noticed that the movie that was waiting to be started was your favourite one so you smiled. After a good sip of your hot chocolate you went in the warm arms of your boyfriend and the movie started.

"I'll warm you up." You smiled against the blanket. Between the sweet sound of his breath and the warmth that you were now in, you fell asleep against his chest...
