Min Yoongi/ Suga

{ The same attitude }

You were working on a new project when your receive an email from your son's school. You went check and it was about his grades.

[Good evening,

I have the unfortunate task to tell you that your son, Min Haneul, is failing almost all of his classes. He do not make efforts in his task and he do not come to a lot of his classes. I will send you his grades, so you could see from yourself and we hope that you will help your son to upgrade is grades.

How could it be possible? Haneul is the smartest person you know and now he is failing everything? You took the time to analyze all of his grades in each classes. The only class he succeeded is Sports. You know it is his dream to be a basketball player, just like his dad, but he have to do some efforts in school too. You got out of your office and went to Yoongi's studio.

- Yoongi: Ahh, Y/N I'm working you know I don't want you to come in when I'm working.

- You: We have an important subject to talk about.

He sighed in defeat and put his earphones away.

- Yoongi: What is it?
- You: I received a messages from Haneul's school and he is failing everything except Sports.
- Yoongi: What's the matter? He want to be a basketball player not a mathematician!
- You: Still... he have to make some efforts.
- Yoongi: What do you want me to do about that?
- You: I don't know, you could talk to him?

He was not in agreement with you and his face was showing it.

- Yoongi: Look baby it's not a big deal and I have to work, I will try to talk to him, but not now. He is old enough to know what he have to do.

You shrugged your shoulders and sighed. Yoongi took that for the end of the conversation and kissed your forehead before putting is earphones back on his head.

You got out of the room and tried to find your son. You know he can do it, he can succeed, he just have to work a little and If he need help you are always there for him.

- Han: Oh hi mom/dad. Do you think you could give me a ride to my basketball game next week?
- You: Sure honey.

He shyly smiled and thanked you.

- You: Can we talk about something?

He nodded and came sit in front of you.

- You: Your teacher send me your grades...
- Han: I know it's awful...
- You: Do you understand?
- Han: I do.
- You: Then why do you have theses grades?
- Han: I just don't want to do that. It's pointless.
- You: You are failing everything, if you want we could find a way to motive you.
- Han: I don't want to. I just want to play basketball, not write 500 words essays.

You can't tell him that he is wrong, because it is not. You want to encourage him to reach his dreams.

- You: I know this is what you want.
- Han: But you don't understand why.
- You: I do, but I know you can get good grades if you putted some efforts.
- Han: But I don't want to!

The tone was getting louder and it disturbed Yoongi, making him get out of his studio.

- Yoongi: Is everything okay?
- Han: Dad understand what I mean! Why don't you?
- You: I do!
- Han: Then stop doing like your parents!

On that he left the living room and went to his room. It started well... you think. Yoongi came closer to you and stayed in silent.

- You: He really is your son. He have the exact same attitude as you, never listening to the other. Am I really like my parents?

- Yoongi: No you are not. You are the most supportive parent I know. Your parents never wanted to hear a single word about your dream, you, you are always there to be sure Haneul reach his dream. He could not ask for a better parent.

You guess he is right.

- Yoongi: I will talk to him.

It's hard to hear your kid saying that you are a bad parent, but at the same time you are happy he told you, so you can be better. You went back to your office and looked sadly to the email you kept on the computer. You putted some music and concentrate on the work you had to do. When you checked the time again it was 19h. Oh well, it's been a productive day, you said to yourself. You got up and your back was sore after sitting still all day. The house was unnaturally silent. Even Holly seems to be asleep.

- You: Yoongi? Haneul?

No one. Nobody in the studio, in the living room, in the rooms and in the garden.

You will not waste alone time, even if you would love to be alone with Yoongi, alone time is just so peaceful, you can't refuse that. You started your alone time by a warm bubble bath. You putted some bubble stuff in the bath and got in. The warmth of the water made your muscles relax and you were thinking about nothing else than the big bubble staying on your knee. When you got out of the bathroom there was still nobody, so you commanded some food for yourself and choose a movie to watch while waiting for the food to arrive. It
is peaceful, even if your son is now all grown up, the house is never silent, even at night. That is why this night is well deserved for your ears. Maybe you watch half of the movie or less, but at least your food was finished before you fell asleep. In the background was still playing the movie but it was only the soundtrack of your dreams.

No more dirty dishes on the table in front of you, a closed television and a blanket over you. They are back. You got up immediately and checked around you.

- You: Where were you last night?

Yoongi was giving food to Holly and Haneul was doing homework. Seeing him doing that made you question a lot of thing.

- Yoongi: We gave you some alone time, you deserved it.
- You: But I missed both of you! And I was worried.
- Yoongi: Be happy we did.
- You: Oh I am grateful of it. Thank you!!!

To thank him properly you kissed him and he putted his hands around your waist.

- Yoongi: Good morning.

He smirked and Haneul coughed in the background.

- Han: Disgusting!
- Yoongi: Wait until you found your other half, it won't be that "disgusting"!
- Han: Yeah yeah.
- You: Thanks to you too!

You went to his chair and kissed his cheek a lot of times to annoy him.

- Han: Okay okay okay!

You laughed and took the coffee Yoongi handed to you.

- Han: You were right... I'm Sorry.
- You: Don't be, I understand what you mean when you say you don't want to do this. This is why... I thought that maybe you would like to be homeschooled?
- Han: Can I?
- You: If your dad say yes...
- Yoongi: What if I say no?
- You: Then, you will be the "bad" parent...
- Yoongi: That's called playing with my emotions, but it's a yes.

Haneul jumped out of happiness and hugged you to thank you.

- Yoongi: So I don't get a hug?

It ended with a huge hug between the three of you.
