Oooft...

Wonwoo had stood and blethered on for the past 35 minutes about how well his companies were doing, and by association, the town was doing wonderfully well, it was flourishing.

On and on he rambled, getting caught up in the sound of his own boasting. He skirted around the fact it was a dark time in his personal history when he lost his son in law, and with the need to heal, his daughter had to leave, taking his grandsons with her.

On hearing this Jimin and Jungkook both bristled, their blood boiled at the blatant lies he was telling, in order to make himself look anything but guilty in eyes of his precious town. Seulgi slid an arm around each of her sons waists, her hands like steel bands, keeping them in check.

"But, I'm so happy to have my family back with me again, and I know they're just as happy to be here with us, in our wonderful town," he smiled in the general direction of where his family were standing.
"In time, I know my grandsons will join me in our family business, making it bigger and better than we ever imagined. That'll make me happier than I can tell you."

He rambled for another 10 minutes or so, before announcing they were going to be having a fire work display in the grounds to add to their celebration, before allowing people to disperse and enjoy the rest of the night, informing them they'd be called in due course to congregate outside for the festivities.

The boys decided to do a little recon of the estate, considering how large this place was, it can't all be boring. Wonwoo must have a secret or two rattling around somewhere, so maybe once the fire work display gets under way, they can slope off and do their nosy and see what there was.

Jungkook and Jimin had been trailed around by Wonwoo to say hello and make mindless chat to people he thought were 'relevant'.
A chore they only endured because of their mother. They simply went through the motions until time came for them to go back to their friends, and Jungkook could seek out Taehyung and talk to him to see where they were heading. They kissed, so they had to be heading somewhere, right?

Taehyung for his part kept to his word and avoided the speech, and instead wandered around the grounds with a bottle of vodka in his hand.
He knew drinking was a bad idea, but truth was, he was terrified. He was terrified of the fact he'd kissed Jungkook, and it was the most beautiful experience he'd ever had.
It was just kissing and yet he felt like he'd been swallowed whole, and was lying wrapped up in the warm belly of pure love.

It felt perfect.

It felt like home.

Now, in the cold light of what happened, he felt out of sorts. He wasn't regretting kissing him, not really.
Not at all actually, but the symbolism of it had him rattled.
He knew Jungkook would want more, hell he deserved more, and Taehyung wanted him to have it.
But the thought of giving himself up to this beautiful boy terrified the life out of him.
He'd never wanted to be tied down to anyone, and he knew that if he let go, he would give in and Jungkook would have all of him.
He'd spent most of his young life missing love. Missing Jungkook. And the rest of it avoiding the pain of loving. Now he was faced with it again.

Faced with Jungkook.

Finally.

Could he change what he'd sculpted himself into?

Did he want that? Could he cope with that? Giving his heart, his entire being to one person? He genuinely didn't know how to feel about it.
He wanted him, who wouldn't want such a sweet, amazing beauty like Jungkook? And the thought of him with someone else made him crazy.

He hated the fact the younger didn't remember him, and yet at the same time he was whining about giving his all to him.
What kind of person was he? Would it make it better if Jungkook did remember him? Would it make it worse?
