Let's hear it... Yeahhhh!!!

While everyone was at the estate for the big party, Seungkwan was in the middle of town setting his part of the plan in motion. It was simply following orders, right? Don't think too deeply into it.
It's not that he had anything personally against anyone, but orders were orders. He just hopes his partner in crime, Sehun, was in the same frame of mind.

The town hall had been decked out in purple satin ribbons and white and purple flowers. All the seats had been decked out in white satin, covering their usual mundane red velvet decoration. A plaque on the wall behind the podium bore the message. "JeonsTown rewards it's elderly and committed citizens for a life time of service to it's people."

What that actually meant, no one knew. All the recipients of this award knew was that they were to be honoured tonight with a special gift bestowed to them. It caused a great deal of talk among their families, but unfortunately, only the recipients themselves were allowed inside for the ceremony.
Not that they minded, as it was very rare, in fact it was unheard of, that this kind of thing had ever happened. Humans were barely acknowledged in such a way. So it was understandable that there was excitement in the air.

Sehun was on his way to the town hall a little earlier than things were supposed to start, just to make sure everything was in order. He bumped into a doctor from the hospital that he'd known since the man had been born.
He was dressed up warm and secure in a navy blue overcoat, with a black wool trilby hat and a warm black scarf around his neck. Black leather gloves completed the look.

In his arms he carried his three year old grandaughter HyeJin, who was wrapped up equally warm in pastel pink. Her long dark curls had sprung free from the glittery pink woollen hat, and cascaded down the back of her pink furry coat.

"Hi, doc," Sehun said with a smile. "Where you off to?"

"We're off to the town hall for the presentation," he said with a warm smile, his breath puffing out, clouding around his face. "I know it stated recipients only," he said, jostling HyeJin in his arms, "but SungMi has to work tonight and there's no one to take care of her."

The vampire was a little taken aback at this piece of news. Doctor Kang was only like what, 49? 50? and he's a goddamned doctor. Why was he on Wonwoo's cull list? That doesn't make sense on any level.

"You? You're on the list?" Sehun asked, his eyes deeply concerned as he looked from the doctor to the innocent child in his arms.

"I know!" The doctor positively beamed at being included in such an honour. "I must've done something to impress the powers that be, eh?" He chuckled a little, once again jostling the child in his arms. "Well, must be off. It's getting a little cold!"

He nodded briefly at the vampire before moving off. Sehun watched him hurry in the direction of the town hall with the little girl wrapped snugly in his arms, his mind racing. Just what the hell was Wonwoo up to? He was supposed to be taking the really old and people who had no hope of surviving illness.

He was pulled from his reverie by the sound of Seungkwan calling his name in the direction the doctor had gone in. He looks over and the other elder vampire is waving enthusiastically at him, urging him to hurry.

"It's almost full," Seungkwan told him, an anticipation in his voice that didn't sit well with the other. "Look." He urged nudging the other as he opened one of the doors to into the foyer of the building. He practically dragged Sehun up the three steps to the main door and yanked the gold ornate handle almost ripping it off, in his eagerness.
