Feel the pain, Lookit that face ⬆️ and feel the pain~
💔💔💔

For three weeks Jungkook had avoided school. He couldn't bear to be anywhere near where Taehyung was, and he certainly didn't want to have to deal with questions from people he didn't even care about. Neither could he handle the looks of sympathy he would no doubt be subjected to.
No, Seulgi had arranged for work to be brought to the house via Jimin.

Seulgi herself had spent time talking to Jennie, wondering just what had gone so wrong with their sons' relationship that would cause such a thing to happen. Despite the fact that Taehyung had cheated on Jungkook, the women felt that it was best for the boys to work it out on their own and in their own time. In the meantime however, they themselves would still maintain their friendship.

Jungkook had settled Cherry on the driveway and was working away trying to sort out the mess he'd made of her. Her side was all bashed in were he'd punched relentlessly into it, trying to ease his anger. Poor Cherry, she didn't deserve it, but at the time it was either the truck or he'd go back into that room and tear not only Jaemin, but Taehyung, apart.

"Finally facing what you did to our beloved girl, huh?" Jimin's voice came from behind him. "You really did a number on her."

"Yeah, well you can't make me feel  more guilty than I do now." Jungkook said wiping his hands on the oil rag and tossing it in the truck bed.

"Oh, I don't know," Jimin chuckled and handed him a cold beer. "She's an old lady now. You just beat up a pensioner."

"Ouch," Jungkook hissed softly, his eyes closed as he chuckled a little and sat down beside his brother, who'd parked his behind on the tiny stone border that lined their driveway.

"You needing a hand?" Jimin asked, jerking his head back to indicate the truck.

"Nah. It's my penance." Jungkook laughed and took a long cooling mouthful of beer.

"How you holding up, baby bro?" Jimin tentatively asked, his heart beat picking up a little.

"Well," Jungkook said and took a deep breath. "I've stopped wanting to kill myself," he said evenly making his brother look at him.

"Seriously?" Jimin asked, his eyes zeroed in on his brother's. Jungkook raised a brow and gave him a look.

"You do know we can't die, right?" He asked, not sure whether Jungkook was kidding or not.

"Not unless I can chop my own head off, no." He snorted and took another mouthful of beer.

"Kook. I don't want to hear that from you," the older said, his tone serious.

"Chim, he hurt me so deeply, so profoundly-"

"Jungkook-"

"I know," he stressed as he interrupted him. "But you know, aside from the fact we can't die. I'd never be that stupid. I'd never leave you and mom. It's just-" he stopped and bit his lip, silently willing himself not to cry. "I miss him, and it's killing me," he whispered so softly that Jimin had trouble hearing him.

Jimin slung his arm around his brother's shoulder and squeezed gently. "I know, Kook."

"Have you spoken to him?" Jungkook asked next, his throat working hard with the pain unshed tears were causing it.

"No, I haven't." He answered shortly. "I can't trust myself not to want to kill his whore ass."

"Chim." His voice was pleading. He didn't want to go into it all again.
