A/N

I can't believe this book is almost over *cries in Scottish*
I so love this story and I'm gonna miss it 😭😭
Anyhoo, let's get it!!!!

After a strenuous past few days, Jungkook decided to join his brother and his friends at the track. The track being a stretch of land called The Rockies. A childhood place they all used to go and play and let their young imaginations run wild, from being your average cowboys, and infamous gun fighters, to alien beings with wild and wonderful super powers. The area itself was a mass of sand coloured land, with rocks dotted around, providing cover for would be cowboys and aliens alike, along with the height to climb and conquer the highest mountains for imaginative adventurers.
It also provided the perfect terrain for the boys, when they had gotten older, to run wild on their dirt bikes. Racing along the dirt track and flying over rocks, competing with each other.

Fun times.

This was where they were all heading right now. It was deemed something they all could use, blow off a little steam?
A little mindless fun, were they could be together and rip over the dirt terrain at top speed, kick up some dust, and feel the wild, free, wind in their hair, whipping away the worries of the world. A chance just to be your average vampire kid.

Jungkook and Yoongi were going to be the last to arrive, seeing they'd been in the city that morning working. Well Jungkook had been working, Yoongi had been in the city merely to get away from what seemed to be going on with his mom and Sehun.
Sehun had been spending quite a bit of time at his house recently talking to his mother about, God knows what. He was starting to wonder just what the status of their relationship was. He just hoped to God it wasn't what he was thinking. Sehun as a potential step father doesn't bear thinking about.

Dressed in their tattiest jeans, tops and relatively old jackets, Yoongi and Jungkook set off across the dirt road toward their destination where the others were waiting, their dirt bikes already geared, ready to be ridden.

"So, what do you think of Hanwoo?" Yoongi asked with a sly smirk on his face.

"In what way?" Jungkook asks, pushing his hands into his jacket pockets.

"In what way?!" Yoongi scoffs. "It's pretty obvious that he has the hots for you."

Jungkook rolls his eyes at his witch friend. "He's what? 35?"

"37," Yoongi informed him, his lips curving up in a smile.

"I'm 18." Jungkook looked at him as if that explained everything.

"Don't think age comes into it," Yoongi told him, his sneakers crunching over the hard ground, "as long your dick works!"

"Dude, that's just gross. He's ancient and human." He shook his head. He was not going to get involved with that.

"Well, not only is he ancient? But he's apparently a whore monger, or so the office gossip goes. God knows what that little human is carrying around on his crusty old dick!"

"You really love saying that now, huh?" Jungkook asked, his doe eyes sparkling. "Human?"

Yoongi flushes a little, bites his lip and gives him a smile. A sweet, genuine gummy smile. "Yeah, well it's a little weird but I feel so different? Almost like as soon as I completed the change, I perceived humans as...human." He shook his head a little, still amazed at how instantly 'other' he felt. He felt comfortable. Whole.

"I hear you," Jungkook said with a chuckle. "But for what it's worth. I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather spend eternity being friends with." He'd spent an enormous amount of time with the witch over the last few months. Yoongi was cool, calm and collected, and he was exactly what he needed right now.
