Chapter 11 : Festival Part 1

The mock battle between the holders started, who participated where us student whom its age is sixteen-year-olds and soldiers plus Mr. Kenneth himself.

This mocking battle is more about adding to the fighting experience as a holder. No one expected this to happen. Mr. Kenneth, Alp and Ethan being the most passionate about this all reflected on their face. But there is nothing harmful to following this event. So that Krishna and Emily who will not be participating in the war will participate in this event.

Rafael's spirit's stone shield doesn't seem like an ordinary stone, because an attack from Pooh's tail can destroy a building's foundation.

Rafael takes advantage of the proximity of Pooh's tail in front of him by sticking the point into his tail. It caused Pooh to retreat in pain. Mr. Kenneth, who did not remain silent, immediately attacked Rafael using his life element.

The flamethrower came out of his hand but was again blocked by Rafael's stone shield. Rafael tries so hard to hold back the heat from Mr. Kenneth's life elements that he only focuses on protecting himself from Mr. Kenneth's bursts of flames.

Because Rafael was too focused on protecting himself from Mr. Kenneth's bursts of fire, another swing of Pooh's tail hit Rafael's back, and he was thrown. The hit is so effective that Rafael is in no condition to fight anymore.

Mr. Kenneth gave Rafael a hand to say. "It was a good fight! You can injure Pooh in one hit. Pooh's skin is supposed to be so hard that even if the bullet he can reflect."

Rafael took Mr. Kenneth's hand to say with a smile. "Thank you, sir!"

The first match ended with a win from Mr. Kenneth. Rafael was immediately brought to Lynn to be healed from all his wounds from the fight earlier. After I thought about it, the battle just now turned out to be unpredictable.

Just from looking at the number of their opponents. Rafael might win because the effectiveness of his life element was superior to that of Mr. Kenneth. But he lost because he lost focus on his surroundings.

The second match between me and a soldier who had Noes gorilla like that time. But it didn't take long for me to win. I used my shadow walk skill to jump right behind him to put the scythe around his neck. It made him give up in less than a minute.

I won because my opponent was a soldier who had just become a holder. Somehow it just became a sense of boredom because I didn't get a challenge in my first match.

But I can't say it out of my mouth because I will be said to be arrogant, and I don't want to be said like that when there is Lynn behind me who is staring at me. Her gaze made me even more nervous.

Next match is between Ethan and Krishna. This is what I'm waiting for. I have never seen the two of them spirit weapons, and I am very curious about their spirit weapons.

Two of them had entered the center of the arena, standing waiting for the signal to start. The two of them started using their spirit weapons straight away.

"I will not budge because you are a woman you know..." Ethan said while he brings out his spirit weapon which is immediately placed in his hand and his spirit weapon is a claw.

"Do not think crumb because I am a girl, pretty boy... You also dare to want to take my Lynn to be your girlfriend behind me. I won't approve it! Even if you have been rejected by her!" Krishna said while she only held the vines in her hand, was that Krishna's spirit weapon? Long vines she once used while whipping Alp. So, it turned out to be the spirit weapon, I wasn't aware at all.

Ethan blushing screamed. "Don't say that where many people listen!"

I feel sorry for Ethan who was humiliated with words by Krishna. But I immediately understood something. If I want to date Lynn too, then I have to face Krishna. Do I have a chance for that?

Not long after the whistle signal begins to blow. Krishna began his first movement. The vines started to lead towards Ethan who also started running towards her. Ethan used his claws to cut all the vines targeting him. Every swing of his claws contained the wind life element, which enabled him to cut Krishna's vines.

"You are great! Now how about this one?" Krishna said that was where she started swinging the vine towards Ethan.

Ethan immediately avoided Krishna's attack by jumping sideways. The whip hit the ground which exerted such an enormous force that the ground shattered as if exploding in just one swing.

With a face covered in sweat Ethan said. "Scary woman!"

"I don't think you can manage to dodge my attack earlier. But this match the victory is in my hands!" Krishna said with great confidence.

After Krishna said that to Ethan, Ethan was immediately alerted by Krishna's next attack. Krishna swung her finger upwards and at once all the vines appeared under Ethan and wrapped around him, so he could not move.

Krishna flattened her vines showing a sinister smile, Krishna swung her whip many times towards Ethan who could not move until Ethan was hit by Krishna's attack. Ethan, who was unconscious, showed that the victory of this match was taken by Krishna.

It was an interesting fight. The next fight between the soldiers. Well, some of them have mastered their abilities, and some have not mastered their abilities as holders. The development of each person is different so there must be someone who does not immediately master it.
