Chapter 9 : Misconceive Part 1

Surprise was etched on the faces of everyone, who listened to my offer to make Mr. Kenneth became the holder.

"What?!" Mr. Kenneth stood directly that he made his chair fall, and he slapped the table very hard. "Can you make someone become a holder just like you all?!"

"Probably... but I still don't know if this will work, because I haven't tried it before. But it's worth a try." I said.

"Is it not dangerous?" Lynn asked anxiously, drawn on her face.

Danger huh... I already thought about that. "If you say it's dangerous or not, I can say that this could be dangerous for the candidate holder and the people around if the Noes is very wild and cannot be controlled."

He repositioned his chair and started sitting. "There are two Noes that my soldiers have caught just now. And you can try to use them."

"Okay then, let's try it now!" I said.

Mr. Kenneth led us straight to the place where they locked Noes they managed to catch. We ride into the car again, as if Noes's place was somewhere far away from where we are now.

"Will this be alright?" Alp murmuring.

"What!?" All shocked simultaneously with a small voice, so Mr. Kenneth didn't hear us.

After a few minutes in the vehicle, we reached the place where the two Noes were caught. I saw two large metal boxes whose doors were like pipes like a cage. In the first iron box contains Noes that is shaped like a big three eye bear and in the second box contains Noes that is like a tyrannosaurus.

"Amazing they can catch these two big Noes, but how can they catch them without the holder help?" Ethan is amazed about what he saw.

"How did you guys catch these two big Noes?" Krishna asked Mr. Kenneth how the military captured these two Noes. Because these two Noes seem not like an original Noes.

"By using an anesthetic shot, but catching this single Noes isn't easy. For that bear Noes we used nearly ten dope shots... While for that dinosaur Noes we used nearly sixteen shots." He explains.

We were surprised by the number of dope shots they used to catch a Noes. As far as I know one shot can paralyze one human, if more than that there are humans who could die. Even a normal bear didn't take ten shots to knock it out.

For now, let's focus on trying to make Mr. Kenneth became the holder.

"Do you guys still have some anesthesia?" I asked Mr. Kenneth.

"Yes, we do, but it doesn't seem like it will be enough to calm a Noes down." Mr. Kenneth replied in a disappointed face.

"Mr. Kenneth, Noes, what would you like to be your companion later?" I asked.

He smirked. "Of course, I want a strong partner!"

The meaning of 'strong partner' I immediately understood what Noes Mr. Kenneth wants. He immediately picked the Noes that I feared, the Noes like a tyrannosaurus. A very dangerous first-hand first try. For what else, I still have to try!

I immediately told Mr. Kenneth about what we should prepare before doing this experiment. First of all, we have to calm Noes first with the rest of the anesthesia we have left, because we are going into this cage.

Next Alp and Krishna will go into a cage to stop Noes's movement. First Krishna used her vines to tie the Noes, after that Alp used Indra's spirit weapon to stun the Noes. Me, Ethan and Rafael will be on guard in case something bad happens.

After that, Mr. Kenneth gets into the cage by doing the following, touch the Noes and look into his eyes. Feel Noes's soul energy. From Manes' explanation that when spirit chooses their holder, they associate their soul energy with the holder. So we might as well do that to Noes.

The last thing Mr. Kenneth must do after feeling the soul energy from Noes is to give it a name.

Until now there are still no problems, his Noes is still in place and cannot move. Mr. Kenneth has followed what I have described. I can feel Mr. Kenneth has found Noes's soul energy. Remaining he needed to give it a name.

"You look at very majestic Noes. So, be grateful because I will give you a grand name." Using his serious face, he finally uttered. "Now your name is Pooh!"

Our jaws fell down including the surrounding soldiers, listening to the name Noes that Mr. Kenneth gave.

"A great figure like dinosaur's Noes being named 'Pooh?!' What a terrible naming sense Mr. Kenneth has!" Alp murmuring.

After being given a strange name by Mr. Kenneth, I started to feel the soul energy of the two of them starting to connect just like Lynn and Mr. Kenneth's eyes turned into Vita eyes. This means the experiment was successful! We've been able to find a way to increase the number of holders and reduce the mortality rate of people who are almost sixteen years old.

"I can't believe this; Mr. Kenneth became a holder now! But those eyes are really Vita eyes." Ethan said with a surprise expression.

Mr. Kenneth grinned and shouted. "Soldiers! Now we have a way to fight the creature! Collect all the anesthetics and prepare your weapon! Catch as many Noes as we can! Do you understand?"

All the soldiers straightened up and pressed their legs together, shouted. "Yes! Yes! Sir!"

Even though the naming sense is very bad, his screams earlier prove that he is a leader. All the soldiers go straight to their job, making preparations to catch Noes who appear in the city.

Mr. Kenneth approached us. "I have a request for all of you... Can you guys help us capture the Noes and teach how to use this power of holder?"

"Two of us too..." Ethan said while Rafael nodded. "Please... Sure we can use life elements, but we're still not very deep with how to use them." Rafael and Ethan bowing. "So please teach us!"

That's right, even if they succeed in becoming holders. But they still can't talk to their companion spirit or Noes, so they wouldn't know how to use life elements. Also, Rafael and Ethan couldn't communicate with their spirits, so they lacked knowledge about that too.

Alp said arrogantly. "Of course! Leave it to us-"

I cut off Alp words and cover his mouth with my hand. "I have no problem teaching you both, but Mr. Kenneth I would like to receive your compensation." I said for the purpose of negotiation.

Mr. Kenneth thought so long and staring at each other, he nodded. "Sure! What do you want? As long as you ask for it in my power"

"I want our family to have protection from the military!" I said.

Mr. Kenneth looked surprised and a few seconds later he nodded. "Okay! We will provide protection for your family here."

That mean our families will be protected if they are in this base? Hmm, maybe it would be better for our family to be here because most of the soldiers are here, so they can protect our family.

I gave a handshake. "Deal!"
