Chapter 9 : Misconceive Part 4

Alphonso Willis [Alp] POV:

A huge yawn emerged from me. tired of having just finished teaching new holders how to use life elements.

The blue sky had turned dark. I have to go back to shower and sleep because tomorrow I have another class to attend. I'm like a teacher now! I am very proud of myself.

"Hmm?" Two shadows of girls and boys paused my steps, looking better to know whose shadow it is. Hide beside the building and take a peek.

"It's Lynn and Ethan alone! What do they do alone at night? Mort must be jealous seeing a scene like this! I should go back to tell Mort about this!"

"Please go out with me!" The shocking shouted entered my ears and made me immediately turn to look at them again. Saw Ethan bowing in front of Lynn. Did he confess Lynn right away?!

I take another look at them and see Lynn nodding. Lynn accepting Ethan?! What should I tell Mort? But he must know about this!

I rushed to my room to tell him about this.

I loudly opened the door and shouted. "Mort-" My shout stopped seeing my best friend sitting on his bed with his eyes flooded and red eye bags.

"What happened to you? Why are you crying?" I asked frantically because this was the first time, I saw him cry.

"Lynn... already taken by someone else... sniff" He said while pulling back his snot many times.

So, he already knows what happened to Lynn and Ethan. I sit next to him. "How do you know?"

He wiped his tears with his hand. "At noon, Ethan met me at the cafeteria, and he said he wanted to make Lynn his girlfriend today." He pointed at Manes who was standing behind him using his thumb. "So, I told Manes to follow Ethan for the day."

I saw Manes who was sighing and said. "I've been behind you since before, Alp. So, we see the same scene."

"Eh! I didn't notice..." I was surprised.

Manes seemed like he was exhausted from taking care of a heartbroken Mort. But I just found out we can use a spirit like this... maybe I can use Indra to do like this too.

Mort blew his snot out with a tissue. "I thought Ethan was just kidding. But instead, Ethan is really dating Lynn now..." His crying became even more intense.

All I can do is accompany him now. Listen to whatever story he will tell. Let him shed all tears for today. Let all his emotions out. Until he can calm himself down. But this will be troublesome.

It's been four days Mort has been in the room. He still hasn't moved on his heart from Lynn. Thanks to that, the class that Mort taught was replaced by Krishna and me.

It should be the time for him to come out of his room, because of that I was almost like a waiter delivering his food to the room three times a day. Manes is also made like a servant for him, poor Manes!

I told Krishna what happened, but she didn't know that Lynn was already dating Ethan. Why hasn't she told her best friend yet? That's why I'm in a very tough atmosphere right now.

Krishna chewed her meal quickly, veins popping up in her head. "Why didn't Lynn tell me? She didn't ask me for advice either! What's so good about that cheerful playboy?!" She drank her drink and slammed her glass on the table.

"Calm down Krishna," I tried to calm Krishna in fear that she would eat me with her explosive anger. "Maybe Lynn has her reasons."

"Why is Krishna in a bad mood today Alp?" Lynn asked while putting her food on the table and sat next to Krishna who was still exploding.
