Chapter 4 : Home Part 2

Emily Krueger POV:

Falling into the darkness could only let my body slowly approach the bottom. There is nothing I can do. I will let fate decide it for me.

But! I'm scared... I'm scared... Mom, dad, brother, help me!

Suddenly a voice entered my ear. "It's alright Emily, you gonna be okay! Don't be scared, I'm here to help you." a woman with a beautiful voice, feeling like I'm hearing the calm wave on the beach calming me.

"Who are you?" I ask.

A small blue light in the darkness appeared before me. "My name is Varuna, high spirit of the ocean, and you Emily, you are my holder now."

"Holder?"

"Yes, I will explain to you later when you awake, for now have a sweet dream Emily." The Little blue light faded, it turned out that my consciousness was disappearing and I began to sleep accompanied by a small blue light.

I opened my eyelids. The first thing I saw was my parents with an anxious mix with happy expressions seeing me wake up. Mother's gentle hands and father's strong hands immediately hugged me tightly. I gave them a gentle hug while thinking about what had happened to me.

Ahh...

I see...

I remember now...

I was drowned...

My tears started dropping to both of their hands, I have made them worried, it seems like my brother is not here. They may not tell him about what happened to me.

One thing I remember about, the woman called Varuna I talked to in my dream said she would meet me when I was awake, but I didn't see it at all, maybe it's just an ordinary dream, I don't know...

A familiar voice sounded in my left ear. "That is not an ordinary dream, Emily."

This voice...

I look to my left side to where the voice comes from, seeing the appearance of Varuna hiding beside the bed with half her face visible.

I immediately jumped at once, screaming in surprise. My parents shout out too, confused and more worried, thinking I was still not okay.

"T-th-there!" I pointed my finger in the direction where Varuna was hiding.

"Wha... what happened, did you see a cockroach, Emily?"

My father asked questions like that, that means they could not see Varuna? My parents looked like they were more confused by what was happening to me.

My mother stroked my head. "Are you okay, honey?"

"I... I'm okay, just miss seeing something." I make an excuse, panicky.

Why is she hiding there? Why did both of them not see her hiding in the bed's side?

"Why are you so surprised to see me, Emily? Don't worry, they can't see me, only holders with Vita eyes can see spirits."

There is someone who speaks in my mind... this voice... Varuna?

"What is a holder? Vita eyes? Spirit? Why can we communicate in my mind? I became more confused." I try to adjust to communicating with Varuna in my mind.

She started to stand up. "I'll explain everything after you're alone, for now don't worry to your parents."

"O... Okay!" Varuna disappeared and entered my body, "Wha... What!" I jumped slightly and shouted as Varuna entered my body.

Because I just shouted, making both my parents see me with a more worried face.

It seems like Varuna said there was a point, just because seeing Varuna made my parents very worried about seeing my behavior, making them call the doctor to check my condition.

The doctor had finished examining me and said there was no problem with me, but the doctor said that my both eyes have discolored gray; it makes me the same as my brother's right eye, making the doctor confused even more.

He also said that I could go home now. After listening to the doctor's words, we immediately start returning home.
