Chapter 13 : New World Part 3

High Spirit of Dead Manes POV:

A few days after our holders had finished making the decision, they would want to face the dragon race that was going to invade their city in the near future.

I am now with Indra in the spirit world, leaving our holder with the aim of wanting to meet someone.

"Is it okay to leave them at a time like this, Manes?"

"It shouldn't be a problem if nothing major was happening around them. After all, our holders are not weak. So don't worry Indra..."

"Hmm, I hope so... by the way, are you sure they both want to help us? They both are high spirits who reject the existence of a holder."

"I'm not sure myself, but we have to hope... not only can we follow the decisions of our holders, so we both really need their help when things are serious for our holders. Besides, we cannot stop holders from appearing, other spirits are also hanging around looking for their own holders wildly."

Kild suddenly kicked the door and shouted. "Manes! Long time no see you piece of shit! Why did you just appear after so long? Hurry up and meet Egy now!" he pointed to the door.

Kild stomped on his chair hard. "Who called me little dwarf ha?! You suddenly appeared and also called me while I was still busy taking care of Egy, you damn skeleton!"

"... Ahem, sorry to disturb your reunion just now, did you see Elu, Kild?" Indra stopped the argument between us both.

"Elu? I didn't see her on the way here. Did you guys call Elu too? After all, what business do you two call me and Elu?"

"There's something we both want to ask for help from both of you. I'll tell you later after Elu is here. Before that, how's Egy, Kild?"

"Egy's... His condition is still the same from before, there is no change at all. Until now, I still control the time of his body..."

Footsteps sounded behind the door with a loud running. The door was opened by Elu who was running until she almost lost her breath.

"Are you okay Elu?" I ask.

Elu ran towards me with her arms spread wide. "Manes..." Elu hugged me hard and said. "Oh, manes... long time no see... how are you now? Have you lost your bones? You have come to see me?"

"There was no problem with me before you hugged me until there was a cracking sound in my own bones."

Elu is a high spirit of life where she usually takes care of the birth of a new life, whereas I am a high spirit of death where I take care of death from the end of someone's life. The two of us had opposite roles, so I felt very uncomfortable around her.

Her habit of hugging someone can't be stopped, she keeps hugging someone even if that person doesn't want to.

"I am surprised you get the title high spirit of life, when every time you hug people, you can break their bones." I complained about her habits.

Indra let out a breath and said. "Because Elu is here, let me tell you my goal with Manes calling you both. The goal of both of us calling you two is-"

"We both want to ask your help." I cut Indra's line.

"... Help?" Kild asks with a serious look at us.

I nodded. "Yes, I would like to beg both of you to help our holders."
