Chapter 12 : Desperation Part 3

The queen began to notice us, she stared at us with a sharp gaze. "Human... The lower rate than our kind, get out of where your tithe is, or I'll burn all of you at once!" The dragon queen suddenly spoke to us.

Not reflex but instinct that made us follow the words of the queen of dragons. Trembling and terrified.

"W-Why are you guys here?" Mr. Kenneth asked in his weak voice.

We cannot answer Mr. Kenneth's question, but our gaze cannot take off from the queen's eyes. Putting a lot of pressure on us makes it difficult for us to breathe.

"So, all of you are holders. Only a weak holder wants to disturb our festival! We are the dragon race that will take this land and make it a nest for my children."

"Why do you guys want to make a nest in our world?" I ask with my all-trembling body.

"That is because in this world there is an infinite amount of food for us. I will make a supply, and after our nest is finished, the Prince is born, we will take another land, and we will control this world before one year. And so for you weak humans here, I will make you the first food for my children's!" The queen told us their goals and plans.

Mr. Kenneth looks angry. "Don't underestimate us humans! You lizard!" He shouted while tightly gripping his broken hand to stop the bleeding.

The queen turns out to be easy to accept provoke which makes the queen start furious and releases her large energy. For a moment the queen was angry, making the others feel like they were going to die at this point.

I understand Mr. Kenneth's anger towards the queen who thinks humans are just food for them, but for our current abilities we can't beat the queen. I can see it using the dead eye I have which is where a very bright blue light surrounds her body.

"You lowly human! Dare to mock me?" The Queen said that she spread her wings very wide.

"You guys! When I give the signal, I will try to hold the queen, in that small opportunity you take Mr. Kenneth away and tell the other groups to leave this city as soon as possible!" I whispered to my members, and they definitely wanted to leave here.

"What are you saying, my lord?!" From Manes voice who sounded panic listening to what I'm going to do.

I can hold off the queen for just a few moments. To tell the truth I could not see if I had a chance to live doing this. However, if this is not the case for my friends as well as Lynn has no chance to leave this city in time.

In everyone here, to be honest, I am the only one who can hold the Queen down for quite a long time.

"Humans who don't know themselves! I will make you feel the taste of death!" The queen began to raise her feet, preparing to step on us until our bodies were crushed.

Seeing that, I raised my stance and prepared for her attack.

As her legs started to fall, I used divorare magic to stop her attacks. divorare bit the queen's leg and stopped her attack.

But it was temporary, the queen's physical strength turned out to be more than divorare so that the divorare did not stop the queen for long.

Using this opportunity, I shouted to my members. "Now!"

My group members heard my signal and immediately went to bring Mr. Kenneth who was helpless away from this place in order to tell everyone to leave this city.

Mr. Kenneth, who looked confused seeing the behavior of the people who left me asked. "What are you planning kid?!"

"I will keep the Queen in this place, taking this opportunity we must inform everyone to retreat."

"What do you say?! I will not allow it! Come with us, that's an order!"

"Mr. Kenneth, I'm not your soldier... I would really like to go with you guys too, but if I do that, everyone won't have time to get out of this city in time. And judging from the situation and conditions, only I can hold the queen of dragons for a long time." I gave him my weak smile. "Please tell my family that I am sorry!"

I started turning away, the face said. "Go now!"

They ran away carrying Mr. Kenneth forcibly. Mr. Kenneth bit his lip, put on a frustrated face and shouted from a distance. "I'm not delivering your message! Make sure you come back whole, kid!"

Divorare was crushed, I avoided the attack by jumping sideways. I saw at the back where they were gone. With this Alp and Lynn can leave the city safely. Now, I will do what I have to do.

"I'm sorry Manes, make you follow the will of your stupid master."

Manes let out a sighing sound and said. "What can I do, I won't let my Lord die in this place. Let's buy some time and get out of this place alive!"

I am happy listening to Manes who wants to follow my will without forcing me to leave here. Even though I acted like I was brave before, I was very afraid of the opponent in front of me.

"Young human, you sacrificed yourself to let the other weak humans go? What a waste of effort. After I take care of you, I will kill them all after!"

"I have no intention of sacrificing myself to the queen. I will beat you here!" I say that we are trying to be brave.

"Beat me?!" The queen laughed loudly. "It's very interesting! Alright, I shall accompany you to play a bit."
