Chapter 6 : Aquaria Part 2

Alphonso Willis [Alp] POV:

We have entered the new tourist spot Aquaria, now I am launching my new mission. But first Krishna and I must leave Mort and Lynn alone together.

"Krishna... Can you come with me together and leave both of them alone?" I asked her by whispering to Krishna's upright ear, so they both do not overhear my talk with Krishna.

She's narrowing her eyes. "Why?" asked the reason with a small voice. She looked puzzled with what I'm plotting.

"I will explain to you later," first we have to get away from the two of them.

I encouraged Krishna to come with me, pushing her back. Leave a few words to them both with a wink to Mort, try to tell him I've provided him a chance to be alone with Lynn. Now the rest is up to you.

I leave the two of them to have time alone, hoping their relationship will improve. I cherish my best friend Mort to have a good life, not just fighting Noes over and over.

When we were away from Mort and Lynn, Krishna escaped from my push and started glaring angrily because I pushed her away from Mort and Lynn, explaining nothing to her.

I started explaining to Krishna what I was plotting to achieve. I told her that Mort fell in love with Lynn and wanted him to improve his relationship with Lynn.

I had explained to Krishna; She understood and wanted to support my plan. She grins and closes her face to my face and says. "Lynn is tough, you know,"

I'm rapidly blinking. "Y-Yeah, I know, that's why I support him."

I'm so lucky to be a best friend with Mort. I suddenly remember my past, telling Krishna on my own.

The first time I met Mort when we were in kindergarten, Mort was silent and withdrawn. Many friends in kindergarten invited him to talk, but he replied without using his voice instead, like just a nod or something. Everyone wants to be friends with him, but because of his isolated attitude, making people not approach him anymore. I was also one of those people, I dull to approach people like that.

I could see Mort's past personality shocked Krishna. I don't blame her, it's very different from who he is now.

One day there was a fire in my house during bedtime, there I lost my parents. I was fortunate to survive because my room was in a room near the window where the rescuer entered.

They hospitalized me, no one came to visit me. I had only my parents and they already died. I became speechless, lacking appetite, leaving me hopeless. Mort was the only person who came to see me. I was still not that close to Mort. But among all the friends I made in kindergarten, only Mort, who had been no one for me, came.

When I asked him the reason, he visited me, the answer was very simple "Because we are friends" I thought he was a weird person and made me laugh. At first, I was hopeless but cheered up again because of him. He came to visit me every time, accompanied me to talk until I forgot about the terrible events that happened in the past. We also developed our friendship to develop, and we both come to be best friends.

I told a long story from my past to Krishna; I thought she would go to sleep to listen to my long story, but she seems like a good listener who will give me a smile.

I approached the aquarium glass. "Sorry for making you hear my long story," saw the reflection of my face trying to get rid of the sadness of losing my parents that was there. "I'm very grateful to meet Mort, that's why I definitely want to support him and make him happy to return the favor."

She is approaching me. "No problem," giving a gentle pat on my back. "I hope their relationship will be better. I want the best for Lynn too, and I know that Mort is a good person."

I looked face to face with her and regained my old smile. "Thank you, Krishna... and what about you when you first met Lynn?" I asked.

"Me?" She's pressing her index finger to the cheek and propping chin on the rest of clenched fingers. "The first time I met Lynn in elementary school, she asked me if I wanted to be her friend. And I said; it's OK because you're cute, that's all."

I'm feeling like I have experience with this kind of pattern. "Are you friends with Lynn because she's cute? So, what about me? Why do you want to come out with me?" asked her to make sure. I'm scratching one's face, waiting for the answer.

"I want to go out with you because you are funny." said that with an innocent face.

I am grateful to God who has given me the gift to be a funny person to allow me to be with Krishna. But my heart bursts into tears, cries for the reason Krishna wants to come out with me.

After listening to past stories with Krishna for a while, we walk around Aquaria. I feel this mission has been successful, and my relationship with Krishna has become close. We spent time alone, enjoying our first date in this beautiful place. I hope the same happens with Mort and Lynn.

I wonder what they are doing now.
