Chapter 13 : New World Part 5

"There is one way around this problem. The way is to add another spirit to this child, with that his energy soul can be temporarily filled by that spirit's energy soul." Elu gives us a solution to save Mort.

"Where can we get that spirit at a time like this?!" I ask.

Kild clicked his tongue. "Are you stupid?! In front of you, who do you think we are? We both actually didn't agree about the holder at that time, but what can we do when we lose the bet with Manes and Indra."

Mort Krueger POV:

When I woke up, I saw that my legs had returned to normal. Because it seemed like I lost consciousness, Alp and Lynn supported me to leave town. Climbing the hills that surrounded the city took me while they were still tired of the incident.

I didn't say anything after I opened my eyes. I just feel relieved but still brushed it off as frustrated at not being able to do anything.

Time seems to have stopped. The three of us had reached the top of the hill. I break free from the support of both of them. Together staring at the condition of our city while hearing the time is ticking.

The queen's breath was spat out. Landed the breath fell to the place where we should be. When the queen's fireball had landed on the ground, a large explosion occurred which swept through the buildings and completely destroyed half of our city.

I held Lynn's hand who was frozen in my hand to see the final scene of the town where we live. Land another dragon began to come out. They invaded our city and made it their nest.
