Inspired from the movie *Secret admirer*
You carefully slipped the note you had wrote in his locker, you took a deep breath and smiled.. you loved Ponyboy Curtis, but you never had the nerve to tell him.
It was the last day of school and the kids were going crazy, I was planning on signing it.. but I could never, so I just wrote 'Secret admirer' I know its kinda corny but, I really like this guy.
I stood behind the wall looking at him, he grabbed a bunch of papers from his locker and shoved them in the trashcan. He grabbed his book and the envelope and shoved it in there, he ran out the door..
I sighed
'God Ponyboy I know your smart but sometimes your so clueless' I thought as I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door.
"Y/N" I heard someone yell
I turned around to see Ponyboy walking towards me
"Hey Pone whatya up too?" I asked
"Nothing, hey check it out" he said while showing me the letter
"Nice whos it from?" I asked trying to keep my cover
"That's the problem, it doesn't say" He said while looking for a name
"Hm Weird.. who do you think its from?" I asked
"Don't know, but I'm thinking its Cherry Valance" he said
I nearly screamed at him
"WHAT!" I yelled
He flinched and looked at me,
"Sorry" I said while ruffling my skirt
"Geez Y/N" he laughed
"Ponyboy its not from Cherry" I said coolly
"How do you know smart ass?" he said
"I just do" I said
He rolled his eyes..
"Alright I better get goin' I don't want Darry yelling at me no more" he said as he kissed my cheek and ran off
I smiled weakly as I watched him run off into the sunset.
"Cherry Valance my ass" I mumbled as I started walking home
~The next day~
I woke up real early for no reason.. I can't sleep when somethings on my mind so I tend to just go with the flow.
Since my parents were out of town, I had the whole house to myself.. It was nice, until it gets lonely.
I grabbed the milk from the fridge to pour in my cereal when all of a sudden the phone rang..
"Hello?" I asked
"Y/N it's me Ponyboy are ya up?" he asked
I stared at the phone
"No, I'm sleeping while talking to you" I said while rolling my eyes playfully
"Good, anyways I think I found the girl who wrote this letter to me" He asked
I felt my heart skip a beat,
"R-really?" I asked
"Yeah meet me at the lot" He said
"ok"
I hung up the phone, and raced to my bedroom.. I put on my white silky white blouse and black shorts, I slipped on my white converse and headed out the door.
This was it.. Ponyboy knew it was from me! I could hardly wait.. when I reached the lot, I saw Ponyboy sitting down on the tree where we used to climb as kids.
I smiled and started climbing the tree..
"Hey Y/N!" he yelled
"Hey" I said struggling to climb up the final branch
He lent me his hand and pulled me up, our faces just centimeters apart..
"Sorry" he said while pulling away
I smiled weakly
I was about to say something when all of a sudden, a girl appeared out of nowhere
"Hey Ponyboy" she said
"Hey Nia" he said while jumping down from the tree
"Hey whos that?" she asked
Ponyboy looked over at me and smiled
"That's my best friend Y/N" he said while smiling
"And whos that?" I asked while jumping from the tree
"Y/N this is Nia, she's the one who wrote me the letter" he said while pulling her closer
I felt tears in my eyes..
I glared at him (Pic above)
"No!" I yelled
They both looked at me
"What?" Ponyboy said
"NO PONYBOY DON'T YOU GET IT I WROTE YOU THE LETTER NOT HER!" I yelled while tears were sliding down my cheek
He just looked at me
"awe" he said while running his hand through his hair (Pic above)
"I'm awful sorry Y/N, you should have just told me" he said
I just looked at him
"I know you seeing me with another girl must be hurting b-"
"NO WHAT HURTS THE MOST IS THAT MY BEST FRIEND DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE BRAIN TO EVEN THINK THAT IT WAS FROM ME!" I yelled while grabbing my bag
He just stood there, tears in his eyes
I started walking away, but he grabbed my arm
"Y/N I do Love you, ever since we met.. I didn't know if you felt the same! and I did think it was from you.. I didn't want to tell you cause I didn't wanna make things awkward y'know?" he said
I looked into his eyes, then cried even more.. he noticed and opened his blanket then hugged me,

Then he pulled away kissed me, I wrapped my hands around his neck as he lifted me up..
