Steve- I surrender

(And yes I got inspired from a pin on Pinterest)

I was on Steve's brand new motorcycle, I held onto his hips as the rain sprinkled on my hair, we were going past 100..

"Steve babe, slow down were going too fast" I said 

"No, this is fun" He said 

"No it's not Steve please I'm scared!" I yelled

He paused for a moment as we continued going faster

"Do you love me?" he asked 

"Yes of course since day one!" I yelled 

"Then tell me you love me!" He yelled 

"I love you! Now slow down!" I yelled louder 

"Now give me a big hug" he said  

I shot him a confused look as I shrugged it off, I leaned forward as I hugged him tighter than ever.. 

"Can you take off my helmet and put it on yours, it's buggin me" He said as his voice shook

I nodded as I took his helmet off and put it on my head

"Sure ba- STEVE LOOK OUT!"

You woke up to a blinding white light and a sick feeling in your stomach, you opened your eyes wider as you looked around, you were hooked onto a heart monitor and your right arm was in a cast.

You whimpered as you saw the whole gang rush towards you

"Y/N oh my god kid you scared us to death" Sodapop said as he bent down next to me

"Yeah what are ya doing on that death vehicle!" Darry said 

"I- where's Steve?" I asked, remembering he was on it too..

The gang all looked at me, Johnny started crying as Dally pulled him towards him..

"What- what happened?" I asked.. a wave of fear starting to rush over me 

All of a sudden, Darry handed me a newspaper, with tears in his eyes.. I took it as I read it.. 

3-14-21 

A motorcycle has crashed into a building in Tulsa Oklahoma due to break failure, two people were on it but only one survived.. 

I looked up to the gang..

"What happened!" I yelled

Sodapop bent down to my level as he took my hand in his.. tears flowing down his cheeks

"Halfway down the road, Steve realized his breaks have broke, but he didn't wanna scare ya." he said as he paused for a moment 

"He made me tell him I loved him.. he made me hug him.." I said as my voice broke

"He wanted to feel you one last time Y/N.. he had you take off his helmet and put it on so you could live.. even though it meant that he would die" He said 

Tears were flowing down my cheeks as I started crying..

"I SURRENDER SODAPOP I SURRENDER" I yelled as he hugged me 

"I know doll, I know" he said as he hugged me tighter 

I let out loud sobs.. for the lonely hallways accompanied by my fear and sadness..
