Dallas- I don't care

It was 3:30 in the morning and you were waiting on the couch for your husband Dallas to come home.. you just had a baby girl, Ruby, and she was 4 weeks old so you couldn't go outside and search for him.

You huffed as you dialed his cell again, no answer..

"UGH WHERE THE F*** ARE YOU AT THIS HOUR DALLAS!" You whisper shouted trying not to wake up Ruby

Suddenly, Dallas burst open the door and closed it quietly 

"MOTHER OF- Y/N you scared me what the hell are you doing up?" he said 

You just stared at him

"I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU THE SAME THING" you whisper-shouted at him

"Listen Y/N.. I was out with the guys at Bucks and-"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING AT BUCKS!" you interrupted 

"Listen, I needed to get out for a bit.. y'know?" he said

"What!, Dal in case you didn't notice we have a baby now what the hell do you mean *Head out for a bit* you promised you would pitch in and help me but now it seems like I'm the only one doing that!" you yelled

"Y/N I'm sorry okay?" he said while trying to grab you

"No- Dal there are some nights where Ruby won't even shut her eyes because she want's you!" you yelled

"I know and Y/N I promise I'm gonna-" all of a sudden, his phone rang.. 

You scoffed as you grabbed it and answered it

"Hey handsome, I was wondering when you were gonna answer" a female voice said

You gasped

"DALLAS F*CKING WINSTON YOUR OUT THERE GETTING GIRLS PHONE NUMBERS WHILE YOUR WIFE AND CHILD ARE AT HOME WORRYING SICK ABOUT YOU" you screamed

"Y/N IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK" he said 

"YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T CARE ANYMORE DALLAS, I DON'T CARE IF YOUR SCREWING ANYONE OR DRINKING AND I DON'T EVEN CARE IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE.. BUT AT LEAST TRY AND SHOW SOME FOR THE SAKE OF OUR LITTLE GIRL" you screamed

All of a sudden, you heard Ruby start to cry

"Y/N WAIT" he said 

"NO F*** YOU GO SLEEP ON THE COUCH OR EVEN BETTER AT MRS PHONE GIRLS HOUSE" you said as you went into Ruby's room

You quickly scooped her up in your arms as you tried to quiet her down

"I know baby I know" you said as you started crying too

~That day~ 

You woke up that morning really sore, you remembered what happened last night and groaned.. you quickly got out of bed and into Ruby's room.. 

"hey baby" you said as you turned the lights on

All of a sudden, you noticed she wasn't in her crib 

"Ruby!" you yelled as you quickly ran downstairs

You stopped when you found Dallas at the kitchen table feeding and talking to her..

"Open your mouth princess" he said as he fed her 

"Listen baby, I'm sorry daddy's not here for you as often, but you should know he loves you more than anything else in the whole world" he said 

"I'll try and be there more for you and mommy.. that's right I love mommy very much" he said 

You smiled softly 

"Now, whaddya say tonight daddy reads you a story, if mommy let's him" he said as she laughed

"Of course I'll let you" you said as you walked over to them

"Y/N" Dallas said as he stood up and faced you, chin, to face..

All of a sudden you pulled him in for a kiss, being Dallas and your husband he kissed you back..

"Listen Y/N I'm sorry about last night.. I promise I'll start being there for you and Ruby" he said 

"it's okay Dallas.. and I know about the lady, Two-Bit called me last night and told me he was drunk and accidently punched her number in your phone" you said 

He smiled as he hugged you

"I love you Y/N so so much" he said 

"I love you too Dal" you said 

You turned around to see your month old baby laughing at you guys 

"Hey there cutie" you said as you picked her up and sat on the couch, Dallas with his arm around you

And there you guys sat, at 8 in the morning playing and admiring your 1 month old baby..
