I stepped out into the bright light of the sun to get the mail from today.. as I opened my mailbox, I noticed a little envelope. I opened it and it was a invitation to a dinner party, there would be food, dancing, and music. 

I smiled I loved parties, as I read more, it said I have to dress 'elegant' and I could bring as much friends I would like..

I smirked and ran into my house. I got to the phone and dialed the Curtis' house. I twisted the cord around my finger as I waited for someone to answer.

"Hello?" a deep voice said

"Hey Dal" I said 

"Oh hey Y/N is everything okay? why ya callin?"

"Oh I was just wondering.. if you guys wanted to come to a formal party with me?" 

"Oh I would like to go for sure man.."

"Alright great uhh can you put Darry on the phone?" I asked nonchalantly

"Sure kid" 

I heard a bunch of muffled voices as the phone got passed around 

"This is Darry"

"Hi Dar!" I said

"Oh Hey there Y/N" 

"Hey Dar.. listen I was just wondering if you guys wanted to come to a formal party with me, I got an invite so If you guys wanted to come.."  

"Sure when is it?" 

"Next week on Friday"

"Perfect, we don't got anything better to do, and it's not a school night" he shouted through the phone 

I laughed

 "Alright cya then.. OH DAR I almost forgot to tell you"

"Yeah?" 

"Dress elegantly" 

I could have sworn I heard him laugh

"Sure thing"

"Alright bye" I said 

Before I hung up, I could hear a bunch of cheering and whistling through the phone, he must have told them. 

You yawned and started your way upstairs, you were happy you invited the gang, they make everything interesting.

~A week later~

As you opened your eyes, the first thing you saw was your dress hanging from the hanger. You smiled, tonight was the party and you couldn't wait. When suddenly, you heard a knock on the door.

You quickly got up from bed and bolted downstairs, you opened the door just to see your long crush Dallas Winston.

"Dally, hey!" you said 

He looked up and flashed one of his famous smirks 

"Hey doll" he said while hugging you 

"So what brings you here" I asked as I leaned against the door frame.

"Oh I just.. wanted to see if you-.. Er- no forget it" he said while he fiddled with his fingers
