I was 7 years old at the time.. I watched the kids swinging on the swings, sliding down the slides, and climbing on the bars.. I was never one of those kids who would play on the playground, I just wasn't.
"Y/N, go on and play like your brothers" my mom said
I shook my head violently
"Okay, then how about you go explore the park?" she asked
I thought about it for a moment before I got up and wandered around the park, the wind blowing my curly brown locks that were up into pigtails, and the grass tickling my ankles..
I put my hands behind my back as I stuck out my stomach, pretending to be a mature little girl, I walked past a bush, but then stopped.. I noticed something, I reached out to grab it.
It was a picture, of a little boy.. I stared at it in daze as I brushed the dust off of it
"Y/N!" my mom yelled
I quickly tucked the picture under my shirt as she came over to me
"C'mon love were going home" she said as she picked me up and headed towards the car..
She seated me in my booster as I examined the picture more carefully.. the boy looked about 2 years older than me.. he was really good looking too
I leaned back into my seat as I watched the trees.. Maybe I would find him someday, just needed to be patient.
~Present time~
Johnny and I laughed as he carried me in bridal style through our honeymoon suite.. my arm around his neck, and my other holding a bottle of sweet champagne..
He set me down as he twirled me
"Wait I gotta get something" I said as I rushed over to my bag, I pulled out my Chapstick as a photo fell out..
"What's this?" Johnny said as he picked it up and examined it
I turned around as I smiled softly
"My first love" I said
He laughed as he shook his head
"What?" I asked
"I lost this photo 15 years ago"
