COMMENTS MAKE ME SMILE 🙃💛
GABRIELLA’S POV:
My eyes watched as the man I have been head over heels for since high school devour my entire food as though he had been starved for months. I couldn’t believe my ears when the both of them asked for more.
Unfortunately, I did a little quantity thinking maybe they won’t like it but it turned out to be the opposite. André even came after my own. It reminded me of six years ago. I was so in love with his cooking back then.
“Where did you learn how to cook?” André snaked his arms around my waist from behind as I washed the dishes. A blush crept up my latina face as I felt his body so close to mine.
“Well, when Tequila was three, I, including my parents and siblings, plus Camilla, Lucia and Vivi went to visit my grandparents in Italy. And there my grandma taught me some Italian delicacies.”
“I haven’t seen GrandAunt Lizzy in a while though.” He said.
“You know my grandma?” My forehead creased and I looked back at him before facing the dishes.
“Well, yeah. Remember? Six years ago I thought we were related?” He said and I instantaneously remembered everything. “I’m just happy nothing bad happened to the relationship between our families.”
“I think WE kinda made a little bit of a snag between our families.” My face turned sad as I thought of the silence that happened.
“Well, there’s always a way to grow back the bond.” He said as I turned to face him.
“I just pray one day everything will go back to before. Daddy told me how much my mom and Jake’s mom were so close to one another but no one’s talking to her since my catastrophic birthday.” I heaved a deep sigh.
“Everything will be okay Brie. Like your grandma used to say, you can always fix a broken relationship with food.” He grinned so happily and looked at him weirdly.
“I have never heard her say that.” I folded my arms.
“Well that was what Grandma Ayesha said she always said.” He shrugged his shoulders with the cutest smile I had ever seen. “I won’t lie, I do miss GrandAunt Lizzy’s cooking a lot.” He chuckled. “And I have to say that I’m happy that I tasted it this morning.”
“But—”
“She really taught you well Brie. I really want to taste more of your cooking.” He pulled me closer and I gasped subconsciously.
“That’s the only thing I can do. I couldn’t learn the others because of the memories we shared in Italy. It was even hard making this breakfast few years ago because the pain of not being with you would double anytime the memories came back.”
“I’m so sorry Brie. But now I’m here, and I’m not leaving again, neither are you.” He captured my lips so smoothly and I moaned when he gently bit my lower lip for me to open to him. I obliged and immediately his animal spirit deepened the kiss but it was unfortunately cut to an end when a voice spoke.
“What the....”
“Can you guys please stop eating each other’s mouths?! Hmph!”
