73. EPILOGUE: THE MET.

GABRIELLA'S POV:

"Gabriella!"

"You look amazing Mrs. Lombardi!"

"Lady Lombardi over here!"

"We love you guys so much!!"

"André hold her waist!"

"You look breathtaking André!"

"Get closer!"

"That's it! Beautiful!"

"Power couple!"

All the reporters' attention turned solely to us the minute we reached the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York City. Everyone screamed and cheered the minute we arrived.

André held my hand in his as we ascended the stairs as our men in black arranged my dress for us to pose.

I got specially invited to the annual charity event — the Met Gala by Vogue's Editor-in-Chief — Anna Wintour. Obviously, I had to drag André with me as my plus one. We were dressed by no one other than the fashion icon himself — José Hernandez for La Modella.

José picked pure black with stunning diamantés embroidered all over my flowing black silk dress as well as André's suit. It was simple yet classy and we managed to steal everyone's attention.

Although André was not comfortable with their idea I had for my dress, he was happy that I was slowly showing skin and loving my body....again.

That day was truly....life changing. I'm happy I had André with me to help me go through it.

My dress included a middle length V-cut that was complimented with a mermaid style. But the flow began from above my knees and way WAY beyond on the floor.

"Hi baby girl! You look amazing!" Kylie ran to us when we reached the top of the stairs.

"YOU look amazing!" I smile at her as she embraced me then turned to my husband and gave him a brotherly hug.

"Always dashing in a suit." She smirked at him.

"And always shining in silver." He pinched her cheeks.

"André Lombardi! You'll ruin my makeup." She scolded playfully.

We got greeted by many celebrities the minute we reached the top, Every single person was beyond nice and complimenting.

"Gaby you look amazing!" Sophie Turner who was chosen as one of the reporters said to me. "Including you André."

André smiled at her. "I have my wife and Mr. Hernandez to thank." He wrapped his arm around my waist.

She asked a few questions about the inspo behind the dress and my two work lives. "Gaby everyone wants to know, when next are we going to see you on our screens? You're on all the business tabloids and brand deals, but you're killing us with the suspense. Fans are hoping to see you back in Hollywood."
