COMMENTS MAKE ME SMILE 🙃💛

ANDRÉ’S POV:

“Daddy?” Tequila looked at me after her eyes were glued to the mini smart board I bought for her yesterday.

“Yes princess?” I heaved a sigh as I dropped the marker on the table.

“I’m lost.” She frowned as she gazed at the smart board filled with a lot of calculations.

“From where?”

“Weeeeeeell, from the veeery beginning of the lesson actually.” She admitted and my jaw dropped. “Daddy your numeracy is different from the numeracy my teacher teaches us in school.”

“That is because your daddy doesn’t have the good sense to realize that this math isn’t for your level.” Brie came downstairs. She glanced at the screen of the smart board and then at me. “You bought a smart board? Why?.....you know what never mind.” She shook her head at me. “Besides that, how the hell do you expect a six year old to understand algebra? Seriously André?” She folded her arms and stared squarely at me.

I investigated her entire appearance. From her surprisingly waist reaching curly raven hair to her kissable lips, down to her handless white tank top and micro black shorts. I gawked at her long silky legs for a while until her voice snapped me back to reality.

“Uh...umm.. I just thought maybe she’d understand.” I raked my hair with my fingers.

“Wow really Mr. Lombardi. You expected your six year old daughter to understand the Pythagorean theorem?”

My heart jumped in joy upon hearing what she just said. I didn’t even know how to react or what to say so I just stood there with happiness all over my face.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” She threw me angry look but it didn’t dare to spoil my joy.

“That—That’s the first time you said Tequila is my daughter. Y—You actually addressed her as my child.” My lips threw a grin at her but she didn’t reciprocate my happiness.

“If you really want to teach her math then what you have to do is to follow her textbook. Just start with very easy addition and subtraction and how to write figures into words. Here.” She handed me Tequila’s textbook. “Do you want me to help you?” She asked as she snubbed my still filled with happiness face.

“Sure.” I smiled at her.

“Daddy I’m still confused.” She huffed and folded her arms.

“Brie?” I looked at her for help but she just rolled her eyes.

“André Lombardi I told you to take it down a notch. I said teach her how to write numbers in words not change numbers to standard form!” She scolded me and stood up from the sofa she was once relaxing on. She wiped away every single thing I wrote on the smart board.

“But Brie that maths is easy.” He frowned.

“Look at me.” She placed her hands on her hips and her eyes shot straight at mine.

“Yeah?” I gazed at her waiting for what will come next. If I’m being honest, from the closeness we had while standing, I was hoping for a kiss.

“Repeat after me.”

“Okay?”

“Tequila..”

“Tequila.”

“...is a six year old child..”
