ANDRÉ'S POV:

"Lillibeth you have watched too much cartoons today. It is time for your etiquette lessons with Madame René." Aunt Linda entered the home theater where Tequila was in watching Lilo and Stitch.

You might be wondering what the hell am I doing with my cousin's daughter? I was walking by when I saw the home theater door was opened and the projector was on.

I had a peek inside and saw her little self all alone. She seemed to be relaxed a bit but her facial expression showed she was scared.

During the period I spent with her, I found out that she loved Lilo and Stitch but she was terrified of it at the same time. She never wanted to be alone when watching it.

For some reason, I walked into the theater and of course she was startled a little bit by seeing me. I strolled to three rows after her and sat.

I honestly wanted to be by her side and hold her hand like how we normally did anytime Lilo and Stitch was on but sadly, things weren't the way I wished they were. But God knew I still loved and cared for her with ALL my heart.

Just the way her father would.

The movie was almost over when Aunt Linda removed the little relaxation from the poor girl's face. As soon as she saw her grandmother, she immediately sat up straight, put her legs in the famous Duchess slant and placed her hands together on her knees like any girl who attended a Finishing School would do.

"B-But my mommy always allowed me to watch cartoons during the day." She quietly spoke with her head bent low, evading Aunt Linda's intimidating stare on her.

"What did I tell you about talking back?" Aunt Linda folded her arms. "Young lady, your mother is Lauretta Giovanna Lombardi. Not that por-"

"Alright stop there Aunt Linda." I quickly stood up and went over to her. "I respect you but it doesn't mean I will sit here and listen to you insulting Gabriella. She's more of a mother to Tequila than your daughter has ever been to this child, and Laura can attest to that."

"This matter doesn't concern you André. She is MY Granddaughter. Speaking of respect, what exactly did you do when that nymph slapped me across the face in front of the entire family?!" She faced Tequila. "As for you, go downstairs and attend your class. You really have a lot to learn when it comes to talking to elders. It's very obvious that girl was a bad influence in your life. You're as disrespectful as her."

"My mommy isn't disrespectful. Sh-Sh-She's a good mother." Tequila sniffled as she released tears. My heart broke the minute I saw her crying while standing there.

"How many times will I tell you that-"

Aunt Linda's statement was caught off by a loud sound. It came from downstairs.

"Why does that sound like a shot?" I whispered to myself.

Next we heard a scream from a woman.

"Laura?" Aunt Linda said out of breath before she rushed out of the theater, probably heading downstairs to see what's going on.

"Tequila stay here." I told her before dashing out of the place. I raced down the stairs when I heard Aunt Linda shriek so loudly but I stopped in my tracks halfway when I saw the awful scene.

Laura's face was horrified and her mother looked like she was about to faint as they both stared at Gabriella's audacity.

She was holding a gun.
