"So Gabriella, how does it feel like being the owner of a globally successful fashion home at the age of twenty three and still being able to have time to manage both your mother's and father's empires along with your brother Jasemeil?" Jeanie Mai asked me and the audience applauded at the list of accomplishments she listed in the question.
When my assistant informed me that I was invited to The Real show for a live interview, there was no way that I could miss this opportunity of being on the show. I was so thankful that I didn't have to fly out of L.A to be here considering it was right here in the city of Los Angeles, California.
"Well, to be honest, it feels amazing to be at the position that I am right now. And it's kinda funny considering the fact that before, I wasn't really so pipped up about joining any of my families' businesses, but now, here I am enjoying every bit of it. But I won't lie, it is reeeeeeeally overwhelming sometimes because there is this kind of pressure that not only my family but the public in general gives me, most especially the public. For example, if my mom got the best model of the decade, it's like everyone is expecting me to do the same thing just because I'm her daughter and I'm taking over from her. I feel that I get overwhelmed more when it comes to my mother and the public seeing me as the daughter of Ariana Sanchez than when it comes to my father and the public seeing me the as the daughter of Nathan Dalmonte. Yes, I get a LOT of pressure from my father and his own...world but I think I handle it more than I handle my mom's. And it's not only my parents' companies I handle along with my brother. I basically am half Dalmonte and half Sanchez. My grandfather - Leonardo Sanchez made sure to distribute responsibilities of the Sanchez family's business to every grandchild of working age, including my brother, he is family after all. So yeah.." I chuckled as I saw their surprised faces. "I basically have a lot of....actually, Jasemeil and I have a lot of responsibilities. But in general, everything feels really amazing."
